    At Paris Gala Performance, BTS Star J-Hope Performs SUGA's Verse From Mic Drop
    BTS member J-Hope shared several glimpses from his performance at the Gala des Pieces Jaunes 2025 in Paris.
    BTS’ J-Hope, aka Jung Hoseok, who has kept a low profile ever since his discharge from the military in October, recently jetted off to Paris. He surprised his fans by performing at the charity event Gala des Pieces Jaunes 2025, which took place at the Paris La Defense Arena on Thursday, January 23. Days after his power-packed performance, the K-pop idol shared some glimpses of the event on his social media account.
    On Wednesday, the 30-year-old BTS star shared a series of stories on his Instagram account, one of which was a repost of Katy Perry’s post. In the video, J-Hope was seen with an amusing expression as fireworks erupted on stage while the artists were on it. He re-shared the clip, playfully reacting to it with a laughing emoji.
    The BTS member also shared a RUclips video of his performance on his Instagram Stories, whereas, in another, he posted a small clip where he was seen rapping Mic Drop’s verse. In that story, he added the caption, “Sorry. Mom," referencing his fellow bandmate Suga’s iconic lines where he said, “Mianhae eomma." #uarmyhope j-hope said in his Story “ Sorry, mom" At the charity event in Paris, J-Hope entertained a crowd of thousands with a three-song set comprising his solos and group songs. He opened the event with his solo numbers On the Street, from Hope on the Street Vol. 1, and More from his debut solo album, Jack in the Box, and the popular BTS song MIC Drop.
    Other K-pop stars who performed at the event were BLACKPINK’s Rose, who recently released her first solo album, Rosie. BIGBANG’s G-Dragon and Taeyang also enchanted the crowd with their performance at the event, which was hosted by France’s First Lady Brigitte Macron to raise funds for hospitalised children.
    The BTS member also shared a series of pictures on his Instagram account from his recent trip to Paris. From his stylish outfits and a pit stop at Louis Vuitton’s store, J-Hope gave his fans an elaborate glimpse of his stay in the City of Love. He shared the pictures without any captions.
    Speaking of his work front, J-Hope recently announced his first-ever solo tour, Hope on the Stage, which will begin on February 28, 2025, at the KSPO Dome in Seoul and end in June in Japan.
