I'm pretty sure that the walking home part takes place in 32 and then the proposal takes place a year later. But yeah, pretty fast considering they really didn't come out with their relationship until after the walking home bit haha. Still though, they are great chracters :D
Well, she did say she was used to bloodshed considering who her father was. She’s seen so many cold hearted killers and players in her life, and then she meets Tommy, who we see throughout the game regretting his actions and decisions and becoming increasingly unhinged as a result . She knows he’s a good man, or at least as good as they can be in that line of business . She wants to comfort Tommy as much as Tommy wants her to comfort him. Tommy was a regular man thrusted Into the crime underworld, you can really appreciate how the devs get that across in the cutscenes.
Jorge Bersabe In my opinion, Vito was already knee deep and accustomed to crime before he was sent to fight in ww2, and being a soldier just made killing easier to him in his life of crime, this is evident as he and Joe talk about him “going straight” when he got back on discharge , implying that Vito knew that a clean life never was for him. Tommy, on the other hand, was quite literally a victim of circumstance and thrown deeper into the underworld at every given turn, constantly dawning on the murders and crimes he’s committed over the years as they start to slowly unhinge and change him. For Tommy, it was either live the life, or die where he stood. Whereas Vito had many chances to walk away, but didn’t. Vito wanted easy living, whereas Tommy just wanted to live.
@@seandent3732 Tommy and Vito aren't really that different: Criminals by necessity and romanticized the mafia life only to find out it wasn't as cool as it looked like.
Finished both Mafia 1 and 2 this week for the first time. Man, did Mafia 1 break my heart at the end and even more so when I realized that I saw Vito's name in the subtitles when I played Mafia 2, remembering that I saw his name right before he killed Tommy and I was like "Yeah I don't like you already" still felt sad for him for everything that happened in the game
I finished this masterpiece 3 days ago! Mafia definitive edition is definitely one of my favorite games! Sad Tommy had to die like that, but after all, he died like a man right next to his family, the only people he cared for in the end! 💥💥
Everything he did was to protect his family. He quit the Salieri Crime Family after the bank job for his family. He went on the run with them. He betrayed Salieri and his friends for his family. He spent 8 years in solitary confinement for his family and finally he died to protect his family.

I think it was done to highlight the hypocrisy of politicians where they'd claim to stand up for something, but do the very same thing they claim to be against.
Mafia were a great series.. really want to see another one.
Me 2 bro
Indo-J remember me

I think there's a hint for Mafia IV and The Los Angeles CrIme Family.

Mr Angelo?
Sarah: You're moving, even when you're standing still.

Tommy: Marry Me
Sarah: Okay...
Damn 1930's bro....

Kinda cool to see Vito and Joe kill Tommy in HD especially since it's the connection between the two games
