- In today’s Day In the Life episode, we take it a little more personal. Scottie and I visit Mommy Irene as part of our weekly routine, but this time, I was able to solo out some time with her to ask her some intimate questions. Some questions I never had the courage to ask her- like what her first impression of Slater was, or if I was an accident baby. We also uncovered reasons why I do certain things the way I do today- like making breakfast for my family, or keep Vicks on our bedside table. It’s really nice to get to talk to my mom without the everyday distractions and get to know her a little deeper than I used to. Hope you guys enjoy this video as much as we did filming it!

Same! I also grew up with a mom who always gave me Vicks to the rescue. Everytime I'm not feeling so good, Vicks automatically relieves me a bit and now just the smell of it feels nostalgic to me.

I lost my mom almost five years ago, and watching this vid makes me feel a lot of things-nostalgic, sad, happy, but mostly comforting. I love your mom. She radiates the same energy w my mom (she’s also visayan btw from dumaguete) I mean all moms radiates THAT energy but aaaaahhh. Like they’re really the same in terms of how they are at home, like I especially relate to when my mom used to be also stressed even when we had helpers 🥺 I wish I could’ve had this type of conversation with her, but thanks to you Ate Kryz it felt like looking back to a conversation we never had. Ms. Kyrz is super blessed to have a mom like her. Always treasure and honor your mother because not all us have mothers to take of us. I am always longing for a mothers love. My mom died when I was 2 years old and now I am 24 yrs old.

If parents can connect to their children on a deeper level, it will greatly help the children. Too much control can at times be good but it can also backfire. I don't know if the phrase "blind obedience" to parents is ever a thing, but I guess, I'd not want to impose such a concept like that. I guess, Kryz's mom's way of discipline, words of wisdom with evident care, would most probably be a win-win.
Now i totally understand where you got your wonderful personality Ms. Kryz. Just like you, i idolized an dlove my mama so much. So watching this, i was crying. I can literally imagine us doing this. Siguro if I'm a newbie parent (which I probably won't. Because I don't plan on having children) If they're growing up na as a teenager, where you can see their individuality develops and magkakaroon na ng misunderstanding sa parent and child. Siguro I'll acknowledge that my child is not a "mini me". Na they will have a different mindset, different beliefs, and different perspective. Once the parent acknowledges that.
