    It's really quite profound when he discusses how logic falls to solipsism in the end, because it cannot base itself around anything unless it accepts a higher truth, which acts as an arbiter with which to measure other truths. The highest truth being God, without God there is nothing we can measure things by. And to accept God we need faith, which is not rooted in this world, but is indeed otherworldly. That of Heaven. It supersedes this realm.

    Institutional "Science" has become a catastrophe since abandoning the metaphysical presuppositions which birthed it. University curriculums compound the error by the glaring lack of requirement of study in this subject. Most scientists have become mere technicians deploying means they do not fundamentally understand.

    I think you need to read up a bit more on said "Nazism". Nazi is a term coined by a bolshevik jew, National Socialism and Fascism are the antithesis of bolshevism, and are both movements based in Christianity. Might want to study something other than the revisionist history you have over there in Weimerica.

      Nietzsche misunderstood Christianity, and I've read Nietzsche and quarreled with his acolytes.

    • @costakeith9048
      @costakeith9048 4 года назад +53

      He fundamentally misunderstood Christianity, which isn't entirely his fault as he lived in the west in the 19th century and pretty much all of Catholicism and Protestantism also fundamentally misunderstood Christianity by this point (and had for the past several centuries). I too reject the version of 'Christianity' Nietzsche rejects, but it's not real Christianity. He falsely believed that the purpose of the theological idea of free will was to establish guilt and justify punishment. But this has nothing to do with Christianity, God does not punish us, we punish ourselves, we deliberately separate ourselves from God and harm ourselves by acting against our nature; any punishment we endure is not imposed on us by an outside source buy by ourselves. The point of Christianity, of the cross, is redemption, to allow us to participate in the Divine Nature and to thereby to act in accordance with our nature as it was created, not to placate an angry God, but to free ourselves from the punishments we have inflicted upon ourselves.
      To use an analogy, we have thrown ourselves into a pit and God has given us a ladder to get out; he'll even help carry you out if you need help, but he won't force you to leave, carrying you out kicking and screaming. God did not put us in the pit, he does not want us to live in the pit, he never did, but here we find ourselves because of our own choices. Some have become accustomed to the pit and do not wish to leave, they were born in it and know no other life, others have been worn down by life in the pit and don't want to expend the energy to climb out and are too proud to ask for help; but no one is forced to be there and no one is prohibited from leaving, no matter how much they have sung the praises of the pit in the past or how much they have helped to dig the pit even deeper. Whatever hell you find yourself in, it is of your own making, not of God's. Nihilism is nothing but the metaphysics of hell, the metaphysics of the darkness, of those living in the pit willingly surrendering themselves to that fate, arguing that life doesn't get any better than life in the pit, that there is no light to be sought above, that all is darkness and that the best you can hope for in life is try to rule over the darkness.
      I'll stick with the philosophy of Christ instead: 'And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
      For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.'
