Marci, I enjoy your videos, your Bible study series, etc etc!!! Can you share a link to your current Bible reading plan you mentioned in this video, please? I’ve never heard of it and would like to explore. I’m terrible at being consistent with a Bible reading plan, it’s frustrating because I love the Word!! Thank you!!

I have been a stay at home wife mother and grandmother for 30+ years and have always struggled with this. We dont have a lot of money but enough to keep us going. Sometimes I feel Like my roll should be to work or Contribute and take some of the burden off my husband 🤷🏻♀️

I'm going to share a video link below that I think may be a help to you to walk through the importance of being a homemaker biblically. But I appreciate these questions for us to think about before we do determine to work outside the home: What are my reasons for considering this opportunity? Are they selfish or God-honoring? - Will pursuing this venture glorify God and honor the gospel? - Is this an undertaking that will help my husband? - Will it enhance and enrich the lives of my family? - Does this endeavor hinder my role as caretaker of my home? This quote from John MacArthur is helpful too (take in that last sentence): “The home is where a woman provides the expressions of love for her husband and her children. The home is where she leads and guides and teaches and raises the godly generation. The home is where she is protected and secured from other men and potentially wicked relationships and abuses. The home is where she lodges strangers, washes saints’ feet, shows hospitality and devotes herself to every good work. That’s her sphere. And whatever of that home and whatever of the goodness of her life she can take outside and not sacrifice the home is between her and the Lord and her husband.” Homemaking Matters: A Good God Working Out His Purposes in the Midst of Our Ordinary Days - ruclips.net/video/GudoIJz46O4/видео.htmlsi=Me3UuBvF1JvGboAQ
