throwing Chimera into the title right after finishing hxh is brutal
Yeah Nina turned into chimera ant
Yeah, i'm still crying for hxh and now this wth
Hxh and Fullmetal the bests Shounens
@@ziz728 I think Naruto, whether you like it or not, is considered to be the most popular shonen there is. Fullmetal fell off super hard. hxh maybe up there, but naruto is definitely higher up for now. One piece is right behind it. Just based off numbers alone, that is.
@@DevilWearsAdidasOne piece absolutely beats Naruto popularity wise. It is the most popular manga to ever be written and the second best selling comic ever made, beaten out only by superman
I like to imagine when Scar is talking about "two souls" returning to god hes refering to Nina and Alexander and not Shou.
Since the manga had a panel where Nina and Alexander went to heaven and the other way for Shou, it's a good thing to imagine this :)
Shou Tucker is the only one in the entire series to go to Hell instead of Heaven
i was like "i wonder what Otaku will do after the Hunter Hunter runs ended... "hurt everyone" wasnt something i expected
Lol
This part hits so much worse in the 2003 version. 3 or 4 episodes of spending time with the Tuckers being a happy family with Ed slowly getting suspicous only realizing way too wait... and the Nina Alexander chimera is the one that stops Ed from beating him to death. "Brother...No...Stop hurt daddy..."
Also when Scar kills the chimera, you can see his trace of death stuck on the wall.
Yeah I was 10yrs old when I watched it back then. Shit was not fun 💀
I like how everyone reacts with horror as soon as the door opens except the guy in center bottom who’s just like “oh wow he made the dog talk” lmao
I've met Shou Tucker's English voice actor. He's a great guy, but he has to lean into the Evilness to shock a laugh out of you. He said, "I love my dog-daughter." He had a little chimera stuffed animal that was horrendous and would do the horrible lines in front of you. He definitely got a shocked laugh out of me. The actor doesn't deserve the hate that goes toward the character, he was kicked be an 8-year-old once because of the role.
Damn, didnt know he got actual hate for the role, that shits sad. I loved him as Stein in Soul Eater, he carried that show for me.
I praise the actor for performing the role so well for us to despise Tucker
Isn’t it brooks VA too? At least he’s the jolliest mf on that
After all the Hunter Hunter, my brain saw Chimera and went haywire 😂
Lmao, I think all of us were thinking the same thing
😂😂
You always include the perfect scenes and make them flow seamlessly. This is my favorite mashup channel by far.
yeah no unnecessary cuts
i love how she said "any experimentation with animal is not okay" so experiment with humans who is a kid is okay?
My opinion is that Scar killed Tucker out of malice because of him being a state alchemist but killed Nina as a mercy. I think Tucker deserved a more drawn out death tbh.
Not really an opinion, Scar himself said it to Ed later when they faced each other after their bodies were found, but ye its a fucked up scenario for sure
Which is why I think Shou’s fate in 03 was a much more fitting punishment for him then what happened in either the Manga or Brotherhood. He became what he turned his daughter into; a Chimera. He ruined his daughter’s life. So now his life is permanently ruined as well. An equivalent exchanged if you will.
True I mean he even says later on that if he had spared Nina she would have suffered a fate worse than death living in a military research facility as a lab rat
If I'd known then what I knew by the end of the series, I would have advocated turning Shou into a Philosopher's Stone and using him to restore Nina and Alexander.
Recalling back the accident in final episode was a nice touch. Showing how impactful the scene and their powerlessness to save her
In the 2003 version it's even more shocking and disturbing, as the show doesn't give the viewer so many hints that Tucker is an asshole as Brotherhood version did. And the animation and soundtracks just hit different.
Yeah the 2003 version handles this a lot, lot better. You can really feel the pain.
Yeah, 2003 version made it very unexpected. Tucker had a bit more background, portraying him as a nice dude at ep 6 and then beginning ep 7 with him being genuinely worried about the test and her daughter (almost like not wanting to do what he later did).
In 2003, Edward had doubts when sneaked into Tucker's house and seemed horrified when he saw the chimera. In Brotherhood, both brothers are amazed and excited about the chimera 'til it calls Ed "brother".
Thanks for uploading FMAB reactions video
FMAB is my favourite anime of all time ❤
Ah yes, we got traumatized by this as a kid watching in a picture tube television nationwide.
"O..nii..chan" lol. man watching people react to this and reacting to the red wedding is like crack to me.
Really gonna make my rewatch this show 😂
After all this time, this scene still hurts my heart.
Let's go new show, awesome
Father of the year award
Wow! First time seeing Dos Cavazos so invested in smth!!!
6:45 The pain and sadness in everyone’s eyes😭😭😭Just the way he says: “What’s there to get angry about ? We are the same, you and i !!!“💀💀💀
Lmao I was like that guy looks like Jack thebus
I just watched this very recently, and i already knew about the dog and girl because of memes, but "onichan, it hurts and let's play" still breaks my heart, now still crying after watching this.
I was wondering what's next,guess now I know.
Ah those nightmare days.
reacted the same way when I was a kid and now im a grown ass adult and still reacting the same way.. the thought of just.. killing your family as the loving caring husband for a fucking job is jus so miserable. this scene / episode / series in general was definitely a sad one
when i watched this episode long ago, something broke
This is one of the few times that I prefer the orignal 2003 adaptation than FMAB, you also get more time to spend with Nina in the original. In the 2003 version, after Ed find's out, he beats Tucker, while Ed was punching Tucker mercilessly, Nina growls at Ed and tried to stop Ed by biting his jacket, even after everything she still loves her dad ☹
Its the biting that really makes the scene better for me, the scene still hits hard regardless of the time spent with them, but showing her still actively trying to defend her father fucking destroyed me.
@@allhandsondik7803 Yep, the original also painted Tucker to be a nice guy, they've tried to hide it so Nina's transformation was very unexpected to me while in FMAB Tucker was kinda of an a**hole you kinda already know that he's done something really bad.
I wouldn't recommend this one scene from brotherhood, it's lacking and not fully adapted to the true horror of that scene. The original 2003 is still to this day made me horrified. But still brotherhood is still great, but not on that part
facts
Truly the 2003 scene is better and then the ending plays with Nina and Alexander. Heartbroken.
2003 version wins, hands down.
Hiromu Arakawa did a fantastic job with the first two arcs of Fullmetal Alchemist, showing the devastating extremes of both religion and science.
holy shit... this scene gave me a PTSD equivalent to the most disturbing ones from Berserker.
Now i understand😢
If "funnylilgalreacts" see this.... She's going to lose her mind, seeing how emotional invested she was with Avatar The Last Airbender, and currently is with Legend of Korra
Big brother Ed....ward.
4n1m3 ju5t f0r ch1ld, the anime :
Why you hurt me like this
uh-oh
damn no hxh ending video sadge
Episode?
Bro this anime took a dark turn. I remember watching this scene in a random rainy night. Probably the most f. D up scene ever. I was so pissed and disgusted by him turning his daughter to a chimera so he can reclaim his position back.
im very shocked the audience " looks sad or broken hearted" nice acting guys...
Edward... Onii-chan.
He kinda reminds me of mahito
Cuando lo vi hace muchos años me traume ya soy todo un adulto y me doy cuenta q la herida no a sánado ni un poco 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
I was soaring the hxh playlist of chinera ant arc, then i stumble upon this by accident because it had chimera it in.
Safe to say im traumatized and is gonns take a 1 week break of th internet.
Thanks
And this is how this thing, because i can't call him human, became probally the most hated character in anime history. There were evil charaters but this dude took being evil to a different level. First sacrificing his wife and then his daughter and dog for his own selfish ambitions and even have the nerve to say he and Edward are the same where Ed wanted to bring back his mother and this dude wanted to show off how good of a alchemist he is. I wouldn't have any mercy or forgiveness for him.
while i didn't read the manga, i know about the context of it. I think that the reason cause this guy is so scary and absolutely spiteful is cause it's not a horrible monster literally, but it's one in the body of a normal human, which could be EVERYONE. it's so...real that it's frightening.
I firmly believe you can tell a lot about a person based on how quickly they figured out what Shou Tucker did to Nina
To be fair FMAB portrayed Tucker to be somewhat of an a**hole it's a bit easy to figure out, while in the original 2003 adaptation they've tried to hide it.
Episode 4 was meased up
But not Brotherhood... the 2003 one is perfect for the shock moment. Brotherhood was so rushed...
This scene still piss me off man smh
9:11
And I Will Mislead Them, And I Will Arouse in Them [Sinful] Desires, And I Will Command Them So They Will Slit the Ears of Cattle, And I Will Command Them So THEY WILL CHANGE THE CREATION OF ALLAH.” And Whoever Takes Satan as An Ally Instead of Allah Has Certainly Sustained a Clear Loss.
Surah An-Nisa Ayat 119 (4:119 Quran)
I remember being in Elementary school when that episode came out 💀
the people in the bottom middle are very slow
Everyone always wants to forgive Ed and Al's human transmutation because of their grief and the ultimate outcome, but Shou was right that they made the same kind of choice he did. Their obsession with restoring their lives prompted them to violate nature and create an abomination, and they did it knowing the risk and thinking they could escape the consequences.
The difference is that they did not involve two innocents in their sin. They committed the Taboo together, and involved nobody but themselves. Shou victimized his own daughter and dog, after already doing so to his wife with another creature. The severity and intentions are entirely different, just as the victims are.
@@Sassaparilla Eh, I'd say pulling your mother's innocent soul back from the dead to an existence of agony, for however long she lived, is pretty bad. Intentions are important, but less so than the outcome and the act itself.
@@maybenaught they didn't pull their mother's soul back though. ALPHONSE was shoved into the body briefly, not their mother. There was an entire plot point about how the bodies were NOT the people they were trying to bring back, just husks. A vague shape similar to what they were looking for. The body was never their mom. It is closer to that of the artificial men monstrosities we see in the final arc.
@@Sassaparilla Ah, ok. I hadn't realized it was like that...and also forgotten. So then I'll say that I think that it would have been appropriately hardcore for them to have put her soul into an incomplete and doomed body, if it were the case. Like basically if they had killed her with their hubris as well.
@@maybenaught it would honestly be dumb though. If you can bring them back from the dead at all, that means with enough human sacrifices, you could bring them back in a proper vessel. I mean, the Dwarf in the Flask is fully manmade life, and can live as long as it has a vessel to house it.
The point is that you can't bring a soul back from the dead. Alphonse didn't really die, he was payment, that's why his soul could be put in the armor, as he didn't die, he was more in a state of limbo if anything. But the actually dead people are DEAD. Death is final here. There's no coming back, you live your life, and then it is over. That's the point. Their desires were utterly pointless. What they wanted could never be done, so everything that happened to them, was meaningless. It brought them nothing but pain and shame.
That by itself, is a cold lesson to take.
the fact it's just a fake reactions of people rewatching for views is funny
This shit was really messed up man
In my opinion, the original FMA (not brotherhood) scene was way worse
The alchemist killer killed two innocent people nina and her father he is the real villain, not Nina’s father
This episode made me quit the show
This episode is really as bad as the show gets. I recommend you watch the rest because its a masterpiece
@@Alpha-bn6cjwhat show is it?
