With only a handful of blocks, you can convert the Stone Swirl to the Basalt Swirl. This is designed to be a very simple build, still capable of pumping out an impressive 73,500 Basalt per hour. You can get faster if you go more complex and move it to the Nether, but this is a great choice for all but the largest servers. Let me know if there is any interest in seeing a Nether version of this.
