- Little Bighorn Battlefield Tour - In this video we will follow Custer and the 7th Cavalry as they approach the Little Bighorn Valley. We will tour the area from Busby Montana/ Custer's Last Camp to what is known as Ford A on the Little Bighorn River just before Reno's attack on the Indian Village.
June 25-26, 1876 - The Battle of the Little Bighorn / Battle of the Greasy Grass, and commonly referred to as Custer's Last Stand, was a battle between combined forces of the Lakota Sioux, Northern Cheyenne, and Arapaho tribes and Custer's 7th Cavalry Regiment of the United States Army.

Really enjoy your style. I've been to the battlefield but your use of maps and photos, particularly relating to the approach and to Custer's decision to divide his force, really added to my understanding of events. He was either consumed by ambition or reckless beyond description, or both.
Thanks for watching the video and making a comment. Next video out in a week or so. I have been to the battlefield a few times and spent a few days each time, really like to explore the locations. I hope that you have had the chance to watch some of the other videos in the History Adventures series.
He was under orders to find and fix the hostiles i.e. not allow them to scatter and escape as they had always done in the past. Ambition has nothing to do with it.
Yup i like the narration as you are filming the locations..maps help but actually seeing the terrain and points really help with perspective

With drones I wonder if the lay of the land and tactics could better understand?
Thanks for watching the video and making a comment. Yes a drone would really help with the lay of the land but the NPS doesn't allow drones and you must get the ok from the land owners. One day I would like to return and get some great drone footage.
I hope that you have had the chance to watch some of the other videos in the History Adventures series.
