    I never understood why people feel the need to tell people how to play games in their personal time. Play however you want. If these people were such purists they wouldn't be emulating the games to begin with. They're just games. Have fun. Thanks for the video. I didn't know about this!

    • @cuphead7100
      @cuphead7100 3 года назад +1

      Just search for "SNES MSU1 Mega Man X" and it's the very first result. IMHO, it doesn't sound very good. Way too busy. The original is perfect, but if you want a different spin on it just search for "Mega Man X Zero Rom Hack". They let you play as Zero in all of the X games for the SNES (and unlike the original X2 and X3, you don't lose him upon dying) and you can freely swap back to X.

    Just copy the files over? It took me some time to figure out how MSU1 works some weeks ago. For newcomers I expected to see which files are needed (.msu, .pcm, patched rom). In your example the .xml (and manifest) file are not required for the current Snes9x Core.
    I am also not sure if the rom needs to be patched. I tried to put the msu-patch and rom in one folder but it didn't work on the Odroid Go Super (it works this way in the snes-hacks folder)
