Another great review! I appreciate the amount of detail that you provide, balanced perfectly with audio demos. Your videos are long in duration, but never feel long. You play to the pedal’s strengths, which isn’t always a given from some RUclipsrs who rush out “day of release” videos.
Huge thanks, man. I really appreciate that, especially coming from you. Yeah, it’s so rad when someone’s creativity and engineering matches with your own creativity. Just clicks.
Man I just found your channel and I can’t stop watching your videos! Your reviews are solid and the pedals you demo are so unique, but above that your playing is stellar! The guitar/pedal community is so over saturated with the same generic styles and genres and you really bring so much authenticity and originality to the table! New sub here glad I found your channel mate.
That is so amazing to hear and I really appreciate it! So happy you dig the channel and I’m thrilled that you subbed. Thank you! Lots of awesome some coming!
@@boringgearreviews The edits were so perfect - you didn't cut any words short and kept the pace of your speech and consistency of your delivery completely perfect - but just with "now you see him, now you don't!" moments 😂 For real though, I love the way you approach demos. Coming up with a bunch of combos of settings, and playing to their strengths. I appreciate knob-sweeping demos, but the kind of pedals you demo aren't really suited to that due to the interactions between the controls. Above all, your performances sound like music I'd actually want to listen to. I'm bored of chugs and melodic death metal for distortion pedals, and stoner doom for fuzz. Back in the MySpace days, I found the profile of one of my favourite metal songwriters - Klaus Matton of Bethlehem. At that point in time, he was hugely into post-rock. As far as I know, he hasn't done anything musical since the late 90s. I think if he recorded anything around that time, it'd sound like what you do! This is a compliment, by the way! And it also feels like the answer to a question I had for around 18 years!
Dude I gotta say you channel has quickly become my favourite pedal channel. I always dig what youu play, there's always an interesting choice of pedals and you always talk sense. Keep it up, hope to see you rocket up in subs this year, ( if that's what you want). Peace!
That is so awesome of you to say. Thank you very much! I’m thrilled you like the channel and really appreciate the kind words. I’m definitely excited things are growing. Peace.
Awesome pedal review! I have a slightly specific question though. I can't play amplified so rely on primarily IR and headphone usage, which takes away any option of playing with natural feedback from rooms/amplifiers. Can this pedal sort-of get you close to sounds like the band Big Brave using the Feed knob?

That is so kind of you to say. Thank you so much for the kind words and support. I’m thrilled to hear that.
Look, you make every pedal sound great, but it's extra special when you are really inspired by a pedal. Such a symbiotic quality. Great demo man. 😍

I love dark, noisy, dirty, clanky reverbs! Might have to add this to my collection of them. Another great demo!
YEEEAAAAH! It really is so good. You’d dig it for sure.
Had to come back for another visit after watching The Emma’s. Great cameo, homie.
You’re the coolest. Thanks, man!
This was an incredible demo. Adding this one to the list.
Thank you, man! So appreciate that. Yeah, this thing is already a favorite for me.
Killer sounds! 👌
Thank you! Love this pedal.

I love how dark and maudlin (and emotive and musical!) your demo pieces are, which made the cameos during the talk sections all the more funny!
Thanks so much! Very cool of you to say. I was cracking up at his head popping up while I was recording 🤣

Liked and subscribed, cool video
I really appreciate that! Thank you and welcome!
Helluva feature set on this thing. Sounds great.
Hell yeah. Seriously cool and fun reverb!
My favourite reverb ever. I use it even on bass for intros or sludgy feedback sounds.
Totally agree! It’s phenomenal and has quickly become a favorite of mine too!
I thought you’d been taking a break. YT hasn’t been pushing your new eps into my feed the last few weeks.
Ah that’s a bummer. Glad it finally put me back in the feed!

Thanks so much! I’m not familiar with Big Brave but you can certainly fake some feedback with this but it would be fairly constant.
Here’s my clean tone….
