I've seen quite a few "traveling from Tokyo to Osaka/Kyoto" videoes before. But, nothing that's specifically about TDR to USJ. I figured, why not? I like creating videos that are useful (usually 😂)!
We're planning our trip now, for 2025. We're coming from the US, so we want to maximize our stay. Your Videos are a huge help. We're planning to go to Disneyland Tokyo, DisneySea, Universal and perhaps others.
Very helpful, I found it too intimidating to go to Universal during our trip to TDR last June, but this makes it seem less daunting, will definitely refer back to this video during our next holiday to TDR and check out Universal. Thank you.
It's definitely a bit daunting at first. Over the past few years, the train stations have been getting better with adding TONS more English signage for popular destinations (they kinda had to). I'm so happy that this makes it easier for you. I hope you get to come back soon! USJ is worth the trip, trust me. Especially with Super Nintendo World in 2020! Thank you so much for watching.
As someone who’s in a wheelchair, how easy is it to use the trains/access the parks/rides at Disney/Universal? It’s my one hesitation about going to Japan… thanks!
how is the train empty??! where is everybody? gosh..lol...those rotating seats are crazy, we were so aweeeedddd when a fellow passenger showed it to us on the airport train. the shinkansen is fast, but not fast enough for a 4 year old. “ARE WE THERE YET?? are we there yeeettttt??!” on repeat
@@tdrexplorer I don't know if you understand that you film dreams. When you did the chair thing I instantly imagined myself with my family in that train with my bento box hahah. Even though I don't know for sure if this is ever gonna happen it's so good to dream. Thank you so much.

I have not thought of using a JR pass to complete this double theme park trip in Japan, that is a good idea !

I was on the slowest Shinkansen (the Kodama) on a weekday in the morning. So, not many people wanting to take the 4-hour train ride haha.
