Scary mask is Mick Aka Seven, Lead singer is Corey also has a band with the other guitarist James Root, two of the members Sadly passed away the Drummer Joey Jordison and Bassist Paul Gray. They were later replaced by Tortilla man (bassist) and Jay Weinberg (drummer) you’ll see them in their newer music 🤘
Forgot to mention the band name that Corey and James are apart of is called Stone Sour, they’re more of softer rock than Slip (depends on the song tho) 😂. I’d recommend through the glass, bother, 30/30/150 🤘

This is how I've always interpreted the lyrics. He keeps torturing himself because he thinks that's how you're supposed to live. Suffering. Like living with pain, thinking it's just a part of life, blind to a better way of life.
Fuck yes!! Theyre masks if youre curious are chnaged every album and they usually burn them at the end of their tour of the album to symbolize not getting attached to their ego. Check out Wait and Bleed and Surfacing two tracks that follow each other on the first album both have crazy energy in a different way.
Edit: the line up is 9 members, Corey talor is the signer, also he actually was probably only able express his voice in that way cuz he ripped his voice apart on the first two albums so bad he had to change his technique.

Before I Forget is typically a good song for those getting into Slipknot. You been on one so you are not new but its still a good vibe that most reactors fuck with.

I own this same mask he's wearing for this song (my Halloween costume for 2023). Slipknot ... most talented, inventive, and edge driven band ...... The lead singer's name is Corey Taylor, in my opinion this is the least creepy mask he's had haha. If I remember right, It's based on a crash dummy. You should check out some of their early stuff like Left Behind, (sic), Only One, or No Life.
