Mohan Charan Majhi took oath as the Odisha chief minister in the capital Bhubaneswar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also attended the event. Former CM Naveen Patnaik also attended the even. Patnaik was the CM of the state for 24 years and it is the first time that a BJP leader took oath as the CM of the state.
