I love the extreme confidence from being an Aries rising I don’t hate anything about my Aries rising, but I do hate when I interact with insecure people who go out of their way to attempt to make me feel less than because of my level of confidence. Thank you for validating some of the stuff I have been feeling. I finally decided to take my life back at 29. My childhood was hard to understand. I was neglected and I didn't speak up. Tons of foster homes but finally adopted at 14 long after my coping mechanisms were in place. I then married at 19 to a man that ended up abusing me. In my journey I am learning that the more I open up the more love seeps through.
Physically I have high cheek bones, fair skin even for a Latina. My eyes are stricking and I feel more masculine.
I am learning to see my self focus and I am so humble about it...lol

Wow, this couldn’t be more spot on! I don’t think I gave my Rising sign as much credit as it deserved. When I was younger my home life was very chaotic, so much so that I ended up helping take care of my sisters during my preteen/teen years. I’ve also had a lot of “tests” and loss in my life - but I’ve learned that there isn’t anything I can’t handle. Unfortunately, I now have trouble asking for help, but I’m working on it! I had to get out of several toxic dangerous relationships many times alone..... In order to rebuild myself, I had to be vulnerable with myself first.. feel the deep emotional, physical pain accumulated from more than 20 years. Meet the need that were not met, inner child work, shadow work on trauma, isolate myself when I was doing this, make the conscious choice to be at the center of my story. Then when I was capable of self-love I started to attract healthy people, was not easy to trust, but I learn was real love is. When I finally find my love within, I could find someone that actually has my best interest in heart, I could be authentic, transparent, and vulnerable with. Love and light

Beating the odds, and being bound by fear before attaining courage. I am glad I heard those parts. This was really accurate for me. I feel I am becoming so sick of living life scared and living life based on other people’s expectations that the will to fight is beginning to come out. I don’t care if I’m difficult or infantile or aggressive. There is no way up for me without a fight - so it always has been, and so it may always be. There is nothing for me to do but scream and fight and rail against the odds (figuratively, unless I have to physically) until people understand who I really am, and that I will choose death before enslavement.

Im a Taurus with a rising Aries and Aries moon, I am vulnerable with 1 person. Other than that, everyone gets the other side of me. I tried to emancipate my mom. Leaving the house resulted in a fight and I ended up in Juvy that night. I got through probation and moved out still before 18. I learned to be independent at a very young age. I noticed that no one was going to do certain things, and that it was going to have to be me to take responsibility for my care and upbringing.
i had a very difficult childhood (very high ACE score). difficult adolescence and felt like i grew up way too fast. i feel like i have had a very accelerated life. im only 33 and i feel like i have the confidence of someone with at least a decade more life experience than me. i have been through so much in my relatively short life.
i think i was afraid of being alone.. it led me to an abusive partner as a teenager. surviving that and connecting to my will to live has really been the impetus for my growth.

I'm a Taurus, Aries rising and this is spot on. My life has required me to overcome many hardships and each gaining more courage. When I was 18 I fell into an abusive relationship, I found courage to leave then at 30 fell into a way worse situation with an abusive husband. Really really bad anyhow finding the courage to stand up for myself was definitely something I learned from the first mistake, and kept with me over the years.
Fiercely independent especially when it comes to home repairs and maintenance another thing I learned early on. I've always done me but a real giver to many.
Rejection is what I was terribly afraid of as a young girl, hence the losers.

100% spot on. I can be vulnerable, but not with many people, and I have to deeply love and trust the person to do so. The flip side is if that person hurts me, it’s 10 times more painful, because it took everything I had to let them in to begin with. If I attempt to be vulnerable, and it’s blown off, or rejected as not wanted / important, it’s a huge opportunity missed for that person, and not likely to be offered again. With my Taurus Moon sharing my first house, I can be very romantic, extremely sensual, and sentimental. I do lack water in my chart, with only Saturn at 0 degrees Cancer as my only water placement, but I have strong earth, air and fire that bring the emotions, grounding, and passion. I can be very emotional, but I have to trust to do so. I think because of the lack of water, the hurt doesn’t just move away as easily as it seems to for others. I have found that I’ve had to literally shut off my heart to function, and then slowly open it back up to work through the pain of heartbreak. It’s a long and extremely painful process. This is specifically why I don’t participate in meaningless sex/intimacy with random people. The trust built becomes paramount, and you learn real quick when you’re built this way, that it’s just not worth it, because otherwise you’re just handing someone a butcher knife and permission to go after your heart.
Because I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder at age 36, that has really slowed me down. I physically can’t be the Aries I once was (as you described). That initially caused some serious depression and then acceptance. Although, 14 years later, I still get frustrated that I just don’t have the energy to do everything I want to do. Perhaps that’s one of the obstacles I was meant to fight? Despite my blood work indicating an aggressive form, I’m still doing really well, and I’m grateful everyday, so I’ve learned to show myself some grace when needed, and cut myself some slack. The only other thing that’s a little bit different is the fashion. I do like to dress up, especially if I’m going out for the evening on the town, but otherwise, I typically dress for comfort. Don’t get me wrong, I like to take care of myself and look nice, but I no longer go all out every day, and that’s just another way that I conserve energy. If I didn’t have an auto immune disorder, I would be right back to dressing the way I used to. 😊

Hi I’m an Aries rising and everything you said was so accurate! I was raised into a very religious home. My mom met my “dad” when she was pregnant with me and my 2 year old sister. My mom was only 21 and he was 31. He was a pastor. He programmed us to believe my mom and her family were witches, he put me and my siblings against each other. The instillment Of god and religion made me afraid of everything as a child. I had to be something I wasnt to please a higher power and my father. But I knew who I wanted to be. I was the middle child, struggling in school and disassociating because I knew what they were teaching me was either pointless or the teacher didn’t care to teach what was actually important. So instead I would spend time helping friends or adults with their personal life, giving them advice, talking to people in chat rooms. Creating my own reality. But Then after school i had to survive an unpredictable mentally ILL pastor after school. I didn’t know how to be myself. It wasn’t until I graduated and turned 19 I found out my father was sexually assaulting my older sister most of our lives. And it eventually made me realize he was abusing all of us but were so programmed to think this was love, this is was normal and while he was mind fucking everyone he knew. Shortly after, my two closest friends were killed in a car accident. It wasn’t until then where I realized there HAS to be more to life. There is no way this is the only reality. My siblings and I safely escaped from him and that past reality. I publicly exposed what he did on Facebook. I started learning about astrology, living in my truth, owning and facing all the things that I have gone through. I created my own RUclips channel where I plan on helping others around the world realize there is more to this reality than we truly think. I Am not here for no reason and my voice will be heard. My mission is to become a leader. I naturally rebel against the social norms and believe everyone should! Who cares who or what it disrupts!
My chart is in synastry aries rising 6 degrees. I think I’m a good team player. I try to give people the chance to lead but deep down inside I believe I should do it because I’m better at it lol 🫣😂. But I’ll let them all try it first and make little suggestions here or there till it’s time for me to takeover! I do look more masculine than feminine. I agree that if I’m able to be vulnerable with you it is a gift. I always thought it was weird to think that because “who am I” but seriously! I would never!!!! So if I do you are so very lucky. If I’m not able to be myself and speak my mind and be understood, we wouldn’t be together today. We now have a daughter and are learning to heal while still being open and vulnerable with each other. It is hard sometimes because we are both young, but I am an old soul. So sometimes I feel like I have to teach him.. But I admire him because he provides for his family, strong and a protector and I admire that because I’m very tiny and short and don’t feel safe unless he’s right there and helps ground me when I want to disconnect from life (he’s a Virgo and I’m definitely showing him this video lol)Thank you for this video it was 10000% accurate.

Scorpio sun, Cancer moon, so of course I'm the complicated one 😂 but I wanted to comment to say, yes, my early childhood was all about survival in a volatile, dangerous environment and independence was a necessity. I took on the parental role to protect my younger siblings as best I could as a child myself.

Aries rising, libra sun here. Very challenging life and many traumatic experiences since childhood. I always led my own way and was never scared of going at anything alone. I was the first at doing many things, but I never competed against anyone except myself. It was not easy for family to accept my ability to blaze my own trail without seeking permission or approval. Despite all adversities and challenges, I push myself through the darkest times of my life and emerge stronger and wiser. It’s hard for me to share my pain and vulnerability with other people, and I hate to appear weak or dependent on anyone. I am independent, direct, determined, and focused on growing in my own purpose; but I am not selfish. In fact, I love motivating, empowering and supporting other people even though I struggle to receive the same. My upbringing was full of neglect and abandonment, and I couldn’t rely on anyone around me, which became a source of motivation to provide for myself and succeed on my own. Sometimes I wish I could relax, open up, and experience what it’s like to be taken care of, instead of always being so intensely self-reliant.

Oh honey, when you talk about the environment we were born into and the need to be independent and situationally aware.... I felt that to my bones. Feeling an ambition for success is so true as well. My environment was very chaotic, dangerous and a lot of that had to do with our lack of resources. We were impoverished and I was hyper aware of that. I am the oldest of 5 as well, so I took on a parentified role to my siblings because they needed stability from somewhere.

I have Aries rising with Jupiter in the 1st house in Taurus. I find that I have a lot of physical energy. I find it difficult to slow down and work smart, not hard even at the age of 71.
Sagittarius Sun Aries Moon Aries Rising. You nailed me. Whats different is that my Mars and Venus are both in Capricorn-which is exalted in Mars. I have tremendous patience but it has ridiculous tenacity to it. My parents were a wreck and deeply neglectful. Grew up poor in a dangerous neighborhood so my instincts are razor sharp although they can make me paranoid sometimes. Currently pursuing my doctorates and the first in my family to graduate college. I may end up conquering the world but we’ll see!

Wow. This is incredibly accurate. I am a cancer sun & moon with an aries rising. I almost burnt into tears when you were describing how aries carry themselves with so much power because I can relate to many traits of my rising sign besides carrying a powerful energy. I am not very confident when presenting myself to others (I have pretty low self esteem) but I am confident when I feel comfortable in personal situations or at home (I'm very introverted). My life circumstances created many fears for me as a child and now as an adult that I am still working through understanding but it has made me fiercely independent almost too much sometimes out of not being able to rely on others (I learned this very early). I feel this independence I have acquired is almost false because it comes from a negative place but I have a very hard time letting others into my life/help me/be a team player/be social. All the positive attributes of the aries I feel are very true to the person I would be without the constant fear. I am working every day to claim the power I know I have deep down. I definitely have thick hair; I dyed my hair red, and I have a big forehead for sure lmao. I also have been told a lot that I'm aggressive and have a direct energy that's intimidating, especially for a woman (and a black woman at that!) I'm very competitive even when I'm not trying to be which is bad at times. I'm the first in my family to move away from home and get my master's. I've always been a very scary child but I learned to be fearless in the house a lot of the time. So this fits me to a T. I'm very sensitive but a lot of times people say they don't see it. There's only one person in my life that knows me inside and out, and that's my best friend (who is a cancer sun and Leo rising, lmao). So this resonated a lot, especially as a Leo sun and Sag moon.

i let one of my close friend see this raw side of me they havent seen before , this was quiet recent actually back in the beginning of April with the full moon in libra (I'm also a libra moon and Virgo Sun) but i could not stop crying and they really did let me express my emotions how i needed too and just let me release the hurt i've been suppressing for a good while. That's true, untill now it's been a 48 year life time of challenges - a very tough upbringing, with the need to be strong and independent then and afterwards.

Yes, Have had a lifetime of challenges. Definitely was fearful.
During my marriage it had become a life of suffering, the person I trusted deeply ended up hurting me even deeper and wore my confidence down with their actions, since leaving a toxic home it has made me now a very strong person living on my own, raising a child and experiencing true independence. While there, yes I refused to give up and did my very best to try to work out what could change my situation with her, in the end I needed to use my wings on my back to leave, fly the coop and start new. I have not yet been able to meet someone who I am able to allow myself to be vulnerable with since I left.

True! The scapegoat and “the truth teller” in a family of either narcissists or enablers I became spiritual at a very young age and pretty much raised myself. I’ve overcome at least 20 major life traumas. My life has been more difficult than anyone I know, except for my Aries husband, however, he’s undergoing a narcissistic collapse and is a covert malignant narcissist I’m escaping from, despite just how much I love him.
