That would be awesome! There's a killer bikepack route I've heard about, as well, from Durango to Moab. I think it's 4 days and you stay in huts along the way each night. I'd love to try that one
I had a blast meeting you and sharing 3 amazing daya on the trail with you. You're a beast for pushing through that injury! That day was BRUTAL! Great video as always.
I sampled a bit of the CT at Molas Pass during a trip to Durango in Sept. The scenery and riding around there is incredible! Engineer Mt is a blast too, if you ever get the chance 👍
Well, I guess this video definitively rules out riding any type of gravel bike on the Colorado trail. I don't think I would even risk taking the Curve GMX+ titanium monstercross bike if I end up getting that. Looks like full suspension is almost mandatory. Or XC hardtail with front suspension as bare minimum.
Hey brother im heading up there early May, Im gonna hit some bucket list trails, im gonna stop and do porcepine rim, then i was thinking Teocali trail in crested butte, but that may be snowed in, so i was thinking about doing this trail. Any who, let me know if you want to meet up with me and show me some epics, gonna do some youtube videos and take some hopefully epic pictures. Let me know. It would be during the week Monday-Thursday, I need to hit my final trail on friday and be in San Antonio by Friday night. I was think of hitting Captain Jacks to finish up on Friday.
Question for all MTB'ers, I'm getting a pinched nerve in my upper shoulder blade, could this be caused by to wide of handle bars, and is anyone else experiencing this? tia
Should I try bikepacking the full Colorado Trail all 500 miles from Denver to Durango in 2021? Let me know what you think below.

I haven’t done Engineer but it’s on my list. We started this trip at Molas which was cool because you are basically right into the alpine riding.
Man, this looks like some amazing scenery. Makes me want to pack up the MTB and come out to Colorado to do a Colorado bikepacking trip with you!

A little squish makes this ride a lot more enjoyable!

I can't wait to do this next summer/fall, you guys wanna do it again ? hoping to find a group, lol I'd probably get lost.
Hey did the crazy glue hold on your buddies water bottle lol ?
What was your psi on your tyres for riding on that terrain? Also what bike bags do you need to completely ride, camp and eat?
Great videos! btw which computer are you using on your bicycle for speed etc? I cannot catch the brand :)
I watched steves videos then found this one!
Was this ride, before or after you got those racks from Topek?
I think before. I run a couple of diffrent bag setups depending on what I need for the trip

Apparently hand position should be about the same as if you are doing a pressup.
