Lush and vibrant color! Wonderful demonstration of what can be accomplished (in the right hands) with these materiels. Thank you very much for sharing this!
I'm waiting for videos like this - and here it is 🌞🌞🌞 I like it very much - thanks a lot for sharing your work. Beautiful colours and I "love" your automatic drawing - THANK YOU!
I absolutely love this! Thanks for all your inspiration. I am about to pick up charcoal, paintbrush and acrylics for the first time in about a decade thanks to discovering your videos on RUclips. I couldn't be more excited. Thanks again.
Right up my street Dan. I love bold, bright colours and mixed media art. I keep thinking, "I'll try this technique next". Before I get to start it, you have another interesting one to try. :-) I'm going to start a little notebok with a list of the things I want to have a go at. It's the only way to keep myself on the ground.
@@lindadudgeon1564 Hi Linda. Most of us need some help or a prompt sheet of some sort. I'm glad to have been of some help, in a small way. We all need to help each other when we can.
I must confess this month has been a challenge, but I set myself the target of a new video everyday. It is always good to push yourself and I am already trying out new ideas and creative directions that I might not have done. For an artist the worst thing is to be set in your ways of working, leave your comfort zone once in a while ( I think that was a quote by David Bowie which Iv'e always liked)
Hi Dan! An absolute pleasure to watch NO loud music NO incessant gabbling NO distraction PURE Talent ! Love your style ! I’ve just ordered Conte A Paris Pastel Pencils So looking forward to using them Can you tell me what paper you are using please ? It doesn’t look like canvas ! Thanks so much Erica - Perth West Australia
Thank you. A paper with a rough surface works well, but I've used cartridge paper. You will find smooth surface such as card will give a different effect, and it does depend on the style of your work.
I just stumbled on your video by mistake and felt "where have you been hiding all this time", only to realize that you have thousands of followers !! Thank you for sharing this wonderful process, do you mind me asking how you fix the conté marks and pastels over acrylics, don't they smudge?
Thanks very much for your comments, good to know you enjoy the videos. Use a good fixative for the finished work or a matte acrylic varnish spray which is what I tend to use.
No badges I'm afraid but you have reminded me that it will soon be time for another FREE artwork giveaway ( just difficult at the moment with the disruption to post) But watch this space.
Wow it’s such a joy watching you Dan thanks for sharing your talent so freely you restore my faith in humanity!
Glad you enjoy it!
Dan is the river off water like you .
Love from Isreal.💌👍💕

You are so welcome!
Dan, it is so very interesting watching your paintings develop. Love the colors in this one, and to see the Conte use. Thanks.
Thanks so much!
Thank you so much ♡
And i love that there is no disturbing music in the Background :)
You're welcome 😊
It's wonderful to watch you channel inter-dimensional entities through your art Dan, among other things.
Such a privilege to witness such mastery.... Thank you Mr. Tirels!
Thanks very much

Beautiful colours and I "love" your automatic drawing - THANK YOU!
Thanks. I worked on this as it was dull, cold and raining. Colour does help to lift the mood just a little.
I love it - it brings me a few moments of pure escapism & joy in the midst of...despair. Thanks for posting this Dan.
Glad you enjoyed it, This one was done on a cold, miserable wet day (had a lot recently) Thought a splash of colour would lift the mood a little.

The notebook idea is great. I'll have to start one myself. I tend to forget all the things I want to try. Stay well.

Wonderful! Amazing outcome! 👏 What kind of paper is this?
Thanks, this is 200gsm cartridge paper.
Really good, Dan. Which pencils do you use?
I use conte chalk pencils as they work better over pain surfaces.
Really beautifull!!! Which paper do you use?
Thanks, use a heavyweight paper 200gsm, with a slight grain, Cartridge paper is good.
Thank you Dan!!!
What paper type is used in this video
I use a heavyweight cartridge paper (250gsm)
