The game is based on the first short story of the Fazbear Frights books and in that one nobody could tell that Oswald's father had been replaced either, except for Oswald himself. Seems to be some sort of strange ability that the Yellow Rabbit just kinda has. Also you don't need to beat Nightmare to get the other endings. That's mostly just there to make the game more challenging. To get the better endings you must: Collect all five of Dad's items that are scattered throughout the pizzeria. Each day there is a new item somewhere in there. Once you have them all, enter the party room and the girl in there will drop a photo with which to trigger the 2-Star ending. The 3-Star ending requires that you do the above as well, but also fix every arcade machine in Jeff's Pizza (and play each one at least once while beating the non-endless ones on the right of the prize machine). Then you have to find and complete all three secret minigames. The first you already found by redeeming your fifth voucher in the past pizzeria, the one with the dog. The others are found by interacting with the gumball machine in the main hallway about 60 times (yes, it takes really long) and by calling Mom from within the party room.

I have watched so many RUclipsrs play this game, and I love seeing how many different things each person finds that the other didn't, like the dialog at the beginning about the ball pit room. Most people talk to Jeff AFTER finding out the door is locked, but Mark talked to Jeff not knowing it was locked, leading to different dialog. Point is, no matter how many times I watch people play this game, I always find something new or different and I love it. This game is so deep and interesting

That's such a tragic ending, all you end up doing is switching places with the dad except that he doesn't save you in time by the looks of it. Hopefully the other ending/s will be kinder.
I doubt you're gonna read this, but for the true ending you need to fix all arcade cabinets, collect all of dad's memories which are around the pizzeria, and play the secret mini games, for which you need to spend all vouchers in the pizzeria in the past (you did that already), call mom in the party room in the past, and interact with the candy dispenser 100 times in the past. No need for nightmare mode.
Again, I really hope he reads any of these comments as opposed to trying to beat Nightmare mode. I'm not sure why anyone would do that if they're not the most die-hard kind of masochist there is.
What about the dad reacting to the animatronic at the end? It mustve been real in order for him to react to it. I believe the "nightmares" he's getting is from the pizzeria itself, because the crying child also had nightmares about the pizzeria when he was in the hospital after getting bit. There has to be some sort of connection
I hope Mark can figure out how to actually get the three star ending so he doesn’t subject himself to torture for nothing (well, he’d get an achievement, but not what he’s after) What’s crazy is he was SO close to the 3 star ending. He just had to pick up the 4th dad item, and play two more secret mini games

Marki-mark. It never saved because you were always in danger. From running in the real world to the ballpit and jumping in you were chased into the main dining room. There you did lose him but as you were leaving you set off Chica and were on the radar the entire time (Freddy and Bonnie on stage) After being chased again into the security room and getting a game over the game wouldn't of had a "safe place to have ever auto saved. Hence essentially starting the day over 8:00.

@@tylerprince6371 Edit: Have to have the save before you get the key, because the chase starts as soon as you leave the room. Having it from the beginning is better for a completionist. In order to beat the game, you have to play the arcade machines and collect tickets so you can get enough vouchers to access the mini game in the prize dispenser. Having the save before you enter lets you complete anything last minute. The next save you get is after you have saved the girl and you can’t return to the present until you save your dad.

Mark's reaction to being sent back to the school every time you die on night 5 before you reach the backroom was exactly like mine. Seriously, I dont understand why they punish you by not just having an autosave when you get the keys from Jeff instead of forcing you all the way back to another location and making you have to go back to the pizzeria and sit through all the dialogue with Jeff again just to get to the chase sequence.
The autosave was probably triggered on the first place you go to, like if Mark traveled to the Pizzaria or Mill the save would be there instead. And I wouldn't say the intent was punishing you more of a way to avoid locking yourself permanently into being locked into the chase though that kinda falls apart since there wasn't anywhere else you could go anyways. I think the Autosave would be a lot better if it was set to occur the moment you get the key or when you entered the pizzaria area
I'm pretty sure the reason for the autosave triggering outside the pizzeria is so you have a chance to go back and collect things you might have missed as well as allowing you to complete the arcade games before locking yourself into the ending sequence.
I wonder what would have happened if mark ran back to jeff's room at the start when golden bonnie started chasing him. Would he get violent even around an adult? Or will he just use the sound hallucination device to appear like oswald's dad?

It feels nostalgic seeing Markiplier have such a hard time on the fifth night of a FNaF game and finding out there's more (nightmare mode) Luckily for this game, you just have to find one specific item (*spoiler* an old picture) by the end of night 5 to get the Canon ending (I believe you also have to find all of the things that Oswald's dad lost throughout the game beforehand that are in different places of the pizzeria while you're looking for him) For the final ending though, you have to find and play all 3 secret mini games that involve the other stories from “Into the Pit” and “Fetch”

There are 3 other endings to unlock and this is how to do that: Bad secret ending: Don't fighting against PitTrap after sawing Dad Secret Ending: Colecting all dad's belongings (if i remember correctly you find almost all of them, just missed one) and strange photo True ending: Collect all dad's belongings, fix all arcade games, finish all 3 three minigames and find strange photo. I’ve seen Marks playthrough, MatPats playthrough, and DanTDM’s playthrough. It’s honestly just fun to watch.
That's such a tragic ending, all you end up doing is switching places with the dad except that he doesn't save you in time by the looks of it. Hopefully the other ending/s will be kinder.

I doubt you're gonna read this, but for the true ending you need to fix all arcade cabinets, collect all of dad's memories which are around the pizzeria, and play the secret mini games, for which you need to spend all vouchers in the pizzeria in the past (you did that already), call mom in the party room in the past, and interact with the candy dispenser 100 times in the past. No need for nightmare mode.
Again, I really hope he reads any of these comments as opposed to trying to beat Nightmare mode. I'm not sure why anyone would do that if they're not the most die-hard kind of masochist there is.

The theory is that you do the gumball machine 100 cuz it's a reference to the book were Oswald jumps into the ballpit and counts to 100 every time.
This seems like a very intuitive way that connects to the main story to achieve a true ending.

What about the dad reacting to the animatronic at the end? It mustve been real in order for him to react to it. I believe the "nightmares" he's getting is from the pizzeria itself, because the crying child also had nightmares about the pizzeria when he was in the hospital after getting bit. There has to be some sort of connection

the thing i always loved about how you play games, is how you pretend you're really there. you call to your "dad" like when you'd call to "bigfoot" and it makes it so much funnier and more immersive!

Marki-mark. It never saved because you were always in danger. From running in the real world to the ballpit and jumping in you were chased into the main dining room. There you did lose him but as you were leaving you set off Chica and were on the radar the entire time (Freddy and Bonnie on stage) After being chased again into the security room and getting a game over the game wouldn't of had a "safe place to have ever auto saved. Hence essentially starting the day over 8:00.

A good place to save it could have been right after getting the ball pit key, before being chased. But, I guess maybe the game wants to give you the chance to explore if you decide to after dying
@@tylerprince6371 Edit: Have to have the save before you get the key, because the chase starts as soon as you leave the room. Having it from the beginning is better for a completionist.
In order to beat the game, you have to play the arcade machines and collect tickets so you can get enough vouchers to access the mini game in the prize dispenser. Having the save before you enter lets you complete anything last minute.
The next save you get is after you have saved the girl and you can’t return to the present until you save your dad.

Mark's reaction to being sent back to the school every time you die on night 5 before you reach the backroom was exactly like mine.
Seriously, I dont understand why they punish you by not just having an autosave when you get the keys from Jeff instead of forcing you all the way back to another location and making you have to go back to the pizzeria and sit through all the dialogue with Jeff again just to get to the chase sequence.
The autosave was probably triggered on the first place you go to, like if Mark traveled to the Pizzaria or Mill the save would be there instead. And I wouldn't say the intent was punishing you more of a way to avoid locking yourself permanently into being locked into the chase though that kinda falls apart since there wasn't anywhere else you could go anyways. I think the Autosave would be a lot better if it was set to occur the moment you get the key or when you entered the pizzaria area
I'm pretty sure the reason for the autosave triggering outside the pizzeria is so you have a chance to go back and collect things you might have missed as well as allowing you to complete the arcade games before locking yourself into the ending sequence.
I wonder what would have happened if mark ran back to jeff's room at the start when golden bonnie started chasing him. Would he get violent even around an adult? Or will he just use the sound hallucination device to appear like oswald's dad?

It feels nostalgic seeing Markiplier have such a hard time on the fifth night of a FNaF game and finding out there's more (nightmare mode)
Luckily for this game, you just have to find one specific item (*spoiler* an old picture) by the end of night 5 to get the Canon ending (I believe you also have to find all of the things that Oswald's dad lost throughout the game beforehand that are in different places of the pizzeria while you're looking for him)
For the final ending though, you have to find and play all 3 secret mini games that involve the other stories from “Into the Pit” and “Fetch”

Hi mark! There are 3 other endings to unlock and this is how to do that:
Bad secret ending: Don't fighting against PitTrap after sawing Dad
Secret Ending: Colecting all dad's belongings (if i remember correctly you find almost all of them, just missed one) and strange photo
True ending: Collect all dad's belongings, fix all arcade games, finish all 3 three minigames and find strange photo.

Hey mark! If you wanna know what to do for the 2 and 3 star ending read this.
For the 2 star ending you have to collect every single dad clue in the game and progress night 5 until the end
For night 3 you gotta collect every single dad clue AGAIN and play 3 SPECIAL MINI GAMES and special ones are like the secret one you played when you attempted to use the prize machine in the past
Other other then that I'll let you figure out the other 4 endings (Jeff, another Jeff ending, secret, unknown) (and I think true)
This series has been great. It just feels like Mark and Lixian at their best. It's like it just exudes the perfect, classic Mark energy. Like in Minecraft, Oxygen Not Included, and OneShot. Love to see it ❤

little tip mark, youre able to call mom while hiding so all ya gotta do when it says to open the phone is exit out of that menu, go to a hiding spot, and call her in a hiding spot and just wait for her to come home
