Scripture: 1 Samuel 15:22-23
"Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices
as much as in obeying the Lord?
To obey is better than sacrifice,
and to heed is better than the fat of rams.
For rebellion is like the sin of divination,
and arrogance like the evil of idolatry.
Because you have rejected the word of the Lord,
he has rejected you as king."
This is not a message on actual witches pulling their hoodoo voodoo on the church but is a message that should bring conviction on a large part of the church population today. If you hate godly conviction and enjoy your lukewarm or cold state then pass this message by.

David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade.
In 1987, David Wilkerson returned to "the crossroads of the world" to establish Times Square Church. As a pastor of the church, he faithfully led this congregation, delivering powerful biblical messages that encourage righteous living and complete reliance on God.
David Wilkerson had a strong burden to encourage and strengthen pastors throughout the world. From 1999 to 2008, he traveled around the globe holding conferences for Christian ministers.

Wish he was still alive, such a powerful preacher. Every sermon of his cuts me to the heart, convicts me, challenges me, where is this preaching in the church nowadays?

Hallelujah - If there ever was a true watchman in this age of falling away, David Wilkerson preached with fear and trembling, not fearing man, but fearing God. Before, something would prevent me from listening to this sermon, but now I recognize and love the true word of the Lord.

Wonder if that is why he may have died...it was an "accident" correct? Still God took him home. I am so confused as to what is the true faith? Baptists seem to put the Holy Spirit on the shelf. Charismatics go with emotions and many act as if the Holy Spirit is a servant who does their bidding.
@@hopeseeker97true faith is NOT a denomination (created by man) you must follow the true JESUS of the bible, obey his teachings, live separate from world (holiness). We the people are his temple where his spirit dwells, the church is the people (wherever 2 or 3 are gathered) NOT a building. We must go back to reading our bibles in order to have discernment.

I heard MacArthur tell a person who asked.... " of course it's ok to take the mark, how else will you survive in this world"....I too thought he was a brilliant teacher but 98% truth will not make up for the 2% lies that lead to spiritual death...please pray to be shown truth...Blessings

Why are people still comparing men? It is the Holy Spirit within a person that we are to hear.....this is why I could listen to and agree with God's servant, David Wilkerson, Carter Conlon, and several others...man is faulty, flesh, and God knows that but He chooses whom He will to allow His Spirit to flow through.....we must become familiar with the voice of the Spirit, whomever is speaking and not look to man whatsoever.

Exactly! We don’t counterfeit a $3 bill. There are Christians who like to say that all prophetic or miracles are from the devil...but somehow these same ones cannot tell you which miracles are the Lords. Since the devil can only counterfeit & mimic the Lord, there must be a great prophetic & miraculous moving of the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit guides me 💯🔥 I have a strong gift of discernment and I test it in the Word, but we don’t have to be fearful. His heart is for us. It’s when we think we are just like God and can do anything He does, that’s when repentance goes out the window and Pride is corrupting my soul. Always lean on Him 💯 stay humble, repentant and discerning. I’m in a Season right now where I am alone. All my friendships I had to walk away from last year because they were compromising Christ constantly and not turning away from deception. God gave me warning dreams. There’s a cost to truly following Him. May I never compromise my relationship with God over being accepted by Man. It’s getting serious Church. Wheat and Tares🔥🙌🏻

Not Today - Amen. This is truth. Whoever has a problem with this message, probably is upset because they’re guilty of exactly what he’s talking about. Either you can heed the word through conviction of the Holy Spirit, or you can harden your heart and be rebellious. But, conviction of the heart by the Holy Spirit leads to repentance...and a rebellious, harden heart leads to damnation. We should pray for this person and other rebellious, lost people.
What about Black Lives Matter beliefs regarding God? Are Christians to support them?
Any unrepentant sin with anyone opens the door to deception.

I left a charismatic church years ago. They had increasing 'babble' and laughter, too many jokes, pastors exposed for sexual sin..never going back to a church with no reverence again!

The church is an open portal to all kinds of spirits,especially in a charismatic church. I wished I had known about his preaching years ago. I definitely need to find a church where the truth is lived, as well as preached. Because of the blatant rebelliousness in today's churches, almost no restraints to anything they are desiring to do in these buildings, called a "church", which are supposed to be holy, dedicated for worshipping the true and living God! You name it, prayer breakfasts where the only prayer, will be, the grace before eating. Fashion shows, Auctions, Pantomimes, Wild sexual, so called "Praise Dances", oh and not to mention "Christian Comedians". These things are not equipping people with spiritual strength, and much needed, sound gospel foundation to fight the good fight of faith, nor is it profitable to the spirit man. Very few people know what true "Holiness" is anymore. Too many impostors AKA Hypocrites in the church. I love GOD, these are merely, "Social Clubs". GOD will not abide where he is not welcome. These facilities, allowing these activities, are on very, dangerous ground. They have no regard for the church or the Holy Bible and definitely, no ultimate regard for the almighty Father. I am praying for spiritual awakening, that people will be godly sorrowful and true repentance comes forth. People in the church should pray, fast and read the Bible, and seek God, before following fads. Know the truth. in Jesus name, Amen.

You know, *"Walking in the Spirit"* is the least taught concept, and after *RECEIVING GODS FREE GIFT* , it's the *"most important DAILY focus, in order to FORM GODLY HABITS IN-CHRIST, and through Christ, which is *"THE-MIND-OF-CHRIST"* (in us)
You mentioned *praying* , okay, that's one way to be *"Walking-in-the-Spirit."*
But not the *PRIMARY WAY TO "RENEW THE MIND"* , which you also didn't mention.
I'm sure *you LOVE GOD* , but why do you think *Ecclesia-fellowship-worship(church building services)* must be thought of as *marine boot camp prayer sessions of strenuous labor* to be good and acceptable to 'The Father'?
Have you not heard of *"RESTING IN HIM?"*
I do agree with you that *many churches* have no anointing and are *preach a false gospel* and are lead by *Lost-Leadership*I , but the *primary problem* is nobody is *HAVING DAILY THOROUGH WASHING BY THE 'MILK-OF-THE-WORD* , (for the Renewing of the Mind) , and they are not *ASKING / PRAYING TO THE FATHER, IN JESUS NAME FOR HOLY SPIRIT DISCERNMENT & REVELATION TO RECEIVE GOD'S UNDERSTANDING OF HIS WORD WHILE-THEY-ARE-READING-IT,*
Instead of relying on their own *carnal-logical understanding* or even accepting what some preacher, evangelist, or pastor is saying.
And, *ALL MUST BE SURE THEY BELIEVE THE ONE TRUE GOSPEL-OF-GRACE*.
Mostly churches are teaching a false:. GRACE plus "OBEDIENCE-TO-WORKS-OF-THE-LAW" to RECEIVE GOD'S FREE GRACE GIFT OF ETERNAL SALVATION IN CHRIST.)
Why do you think the poor people are so _LOST, CARNAL, STRUGGLING, NOT GROWING IN GOD'S GRACE, AND DO MOST OF THEIR LIVING 'WALKING-AFTER-THE-FLESH'??_

yes the majority are Babylonian churches, they are mocking true biblical Christianity and they will persecute the true followers of JESUS !
@ Angela Davis Don't give up , ask God to lead you to one . It took years but I finally found a church like that . The pastor preaches holy living and the ministry of the Holy Spirit in meetings . They baptized 50 people in the local jail last week ! Yeah , God is sending revival where I live . Hardcore drug addicts are getting saved and getting clean .
Today we call that root of bitterness,that putryfying wound that bleeds on to others,that opens you up to demonic possession... Narcissism

I had the threat of ...a deep 'root of bitterness' .... cos of my Husband's parents abuse of me , him and our young son, but the Holy Spirit at church at the worst time - reduced me to clinging onto Him to allow Him to draw it out of me. We have suffered waaay to much to end up bitter. I, have been and seen enough of God's powerful work in my life to doubt the way He deals with this with mercy and grace. \o/

I remember attending a church where I saw a woman that looked christian, she was actually a member of the church and would take part, but when I saw her I heard the Lord say, she is a witch....I doubted for a moment, but my mother who was next to me saw and heard the same thing. This woman would take part in the church services and pass to the front to sing and everything. I told the pastor, but they just said well, I am aware of it and remember the bible says that the wheat must grow with the tares....

The Preacher at our church reassures me over and over that all my sins are already forgiven and that Father God isn't mad at me, even though, I can feel that something is wrong between me and My Lords. My mother tries to tell me that God doesn't get mad at me and that all my sins are forgiven from the moment I came to Lord Jesus. Yet, I have read the same passage David talked about tonight. I live with people who believe "Once Saved, Always Saved" and that your disobedience means you will lose blessings, but never your salvation. I don't know whether to believe them or the Bible sometimes. God help us.

When I was in Bible College, my friend and I went to a Pentecostal Church. We observed speaking in tongues without interpretation, no order, everyone was doing it. People were falling down and fainting and the sermon was about how one's sin inflicts your children with illnesses.
One of our language Prof's went the following Sunday. He could speak Latin, Hebrew and Greek.
Apparently, the "tongues" that he could hear were speaking the Lord's Prayer backwards, he was profoundly moved by the evil that he felt (as we did) and stayed afterwards to speak to the Pastor. What transpired after that, I wasn't privy to.
There are other Biblical purposes of tongues (intercession, etc), that don’t need interpretation - but that is a scary story. Has he been in any other church & heard godly words? I’ve heard that happening
