When we #think of the #victory of the #Cross we have to remind ourselves that the #blood of #Jesus #cleanses us from all our #sins and we are #forgiven in Christ. At the Cross #Jesus bore all our #grief and #sorrows. All #guilt and #condemnation is lifted because of His #blood. At the Cross #mercy and #peace took on a #human #face. #Jesus #Christ made a #covenant with His #Father and His #blood brings us #everlasting #peace.
About David Wilkerson
David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade.
In 1987, David Wilkerson returned to "the crossroads of the world" to establish Times Square Church. As a pastor of the church, he faithfully led this congregation, delivering powerful biblical messages that encourage righteous living and complete reliance on God.
David Wilkerson had a strong burden to encourage and strengthen pastors throughout the world. From 1999 to 2008, he traveled around the globe holding conferences for Christian ministers.

As Christians it’s important to trust God no matter what we are going through. God is our only strength in this world. Like many other single parents things are tough on me. Both of my sons are autistic and non verbal. I’m constantly struggling to provide for them and now that I’m home schooling them things are especially hard. I’m having trouble getting their school supplies. I’m overwhelmed and so ashamed. Father God hear my prayers. My faith in you is strong! Even as I constantly struggle to pay my rent. And I constantly struggle to provide groceries for my children! I trust you Lord! I’m choosing to keep faith. Walking with faith is the most important thing us christian’s must do. That’s why love compassion and prayers are all we truly need. Please keep me in your prayers.
I will pray for you my sister.
I’m on disability and I’m barely existing !
Holy father please provide for this single parent,with the needs that are needed.
Lord supply all her needs from Your riches in Glory in Christ Jesus amen

Jesus came to give life and life more abundantly But the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. Amen!
My family has little to do with me now because I stood against liquor at gatherings. They were all brought up in the faith, but it changed after Christian college... They have drifted to the other family sides that are not Christians. It is hard not to live in condemnation " was my stand that wrong" I don't think so. I think its the generation. Thanks so for replaying Pastor David's sermons..
Oh how I wish I had know people like David Wilkerson better growing up. I pray God make me obey God as he did Jesus. I see now.blessed be the God of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is far greater than I.
King David's wives and army's families were ransacked while at war. As enemy celebrated, David encouraged himself in the LORD, pursued, won the victory, not a hoof left behind. GLORY to God in Christ Jesus Name of Nazareth.

Second of all : ALL the churches founded by the apostles did not allow remarriage while the first spouse was alive for hundreds of years after the apostles , NOT ONE of the early church leaders allowed it
Mark,Luke,Matthew are synoptic gospels .. and the event in Mark 10 is the same as in Matthew 19 , but no clause is mentioned here , just the absolute message we see in luke 16,romans 7 and 1chor 7 ...
Also , the clauses in matthew is "fornication" , which through out church history was always defined as sex between two unmarried , and adultery is when one or both parts are married to someone else ..
The bible uses fornication and adultery specifically , but the churches today are the ones that just declare that it says "for adultery" , if the one married spouse cheats they are free to remarry ... but it says fornication ...
Considering Jewish customs this might mean that its a clause to protect virginity, like in the law of Moses- that if a woman is unfaithful before the marriage you re free to remarry, or it might talk about the betrothal period ..
Its not easy to say , but the absolute message you see in mark10 , luke 16 and with Paul should be authoritative , cus they are clear verses ...
Look up Joseph Webbs six part sermon on divorce remarriage ...
Remarriage started with Erasmus - a catholic theologian nicknamed "the prince of humanism" in the 13 or 14 hundreds , ip until then remarriage was always considered sin while the first spouse was alive , actually , up until the 1970/80s divorce/remarriage was pretty much unheard of .... boomers was the generation that normalised it

There are many out there, that fought, or are fighting for their marriages, but they are not fighting in the grace of God. Gods word is the only weapon that prevails. The word guides, leads, teaches, and directs us in this battle. I am old now, yet I know very few couples that have stayed married. Many found what works, but not till their second, third, fourth marriage. First timers, only a few have made it. First step, we have to sacrifice the flesh. Bc our flesh accommodates evil very well. The temple of God is what we must seek, and invite the Holy Spirit at our side, first thing, every morning. 🙏🏻

I need prayer please! I trusted and obeyed God when He gave me a dream to go to Abha in Saudi Arabia! I trusted and obeyed God after asking Him for confirmation. I am British and was stuck in Saudi Arabia for 9.5 years and I was mistreated and tortued by them and back in England but avoided by my Christian brethren. I forgive them but it hurts. I continue to trust what God asked me to do. I want that Jesus be pleased with me and that He will deliver me when He is ready! Amen.

It's more like the devil doesn't allow anything good to happen. No matter my efforts, it's like I'm pinned down.
When it comes to God, many times it is our own efforts that stands in the way of God working in our life. Our efforts and His work in us should be balanced, everything in the Christian life should be balanced. If you truly follow Jesus then He will bring that balance.

For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
To not follow cunningly devised fables is to enter in at the strait gate indeed.

How about starting to help some of the people that you so love ; 6 million jews , 6 million covid deaths , 19 millio aids deaths , 9 million child desths per year . What could be more important than that ?
You are speaking a man that is dead, but also one that risked his life for years working with the lowest of the low in New York: drug addicts, prostitutes, gangs. Literally saving lives...maybe thousands. Decades of ministry to these people.

50% divorce rate, I'm not surprised with all the trash that's on television. Glorifying adultery and murder, I don't even watch T.V anymore, I the ads that cross my screen make me stay away.
That was just a projection of someone working with the data he had back in the 70s. One that was never actually reached in real-life.
However, it is being cited as fact today, wothout fact-checking it.

Sennacharib did NOT enter the gates of Jerusalem. Period. I enjoy much of David Wilkerson's preaching (listened to many hours of his sermons), but he missed this one, scripturally, by a mile. He claims Sennacharib and his forces were INSIDE the gates of Jerusalem, "drooling" at all the spoil they saw. NEVER happened. Sennacharib and his forces were stopped DEAD (literally) OUTSIDE the gates of Jerusalem, when God sent His angel and slew 185,000 Assyrian troops in their beds as they slept.Sennacharib fled back to his own land, and was slain by his own sons as he worshipped in the temple of his god. Read Isaiah chapters 36-37 for the whole story. Wilkerson told a very theatrical story in this sermon, but it wasn't based on the Bible.
