  • There are two main types of back pain: inflammatory and mechanical. Mechanical back pain is more common, but it's important to know the symptoms of inflammatory back pain, which can be serious and requires different treatment from mechanical back pain.

Back pain takes real conscious effort to eliminate. You can do the right exercises but if you fall back into old habits of lifting and or remaining in the same position it will come back. it happened to me.

The problem with treating inflammation is that the inflammation is a mechanism the body uses to heal itself.

Hey man I know it’s 4 years and I’ve had lower back inflammation for like 4-5 months and these past 2 months I’ve started to take my physical therapy more serious. I’m 18 years old and I’m trying to live my life like I did before this injury. Do u think if I keep up my PT and light training that I will be able to go back to working out and running

I have mechanical, my job involves lifting heavy items such as boxes, furiture and bags. Is there no drug as well or way to fix/reduce the pain?

Exercise and strengthening the core muscles and using good lifting form is Key. Avoid bending and twisting repetitively.
