looks definitely divine indeed
December coming soon, this recipe is superb!
I have never had them, but after seeing how easy they are to make, remedying that should not be a problem. I like that it also uses a local, seasonal abundant main ingredient that is found in many parts during this time of year. Now, how many people have the carol concerning chestnuts roasting on an open fire, going through their heads?!
Lovely!
I would buy an audiobook if it featured her voice. Oh heck, make your cook book into an audio book and add Hugh's voice as well.
I think almost everyone in river cottage would be amazing narrator for audiobooks! Pam, Gil, Hugh too... they have amazingly soothing voices!
She has such a nice voice
Thank you so much delicious ❤️💜😍👌
Can you give some tips on peeling chesnuts? Because I've tried boiling them and it's so hard to get the skins off! I'm not entirely sure if its because my batch of chesnuts are never really that fresh or what, but anything would help at this point
great!
I tried to make these last yeah, did not turn out completely as planned however there where a handful of good ones in there and they tasted fantastic!
What was wrong with the others ?
um, no. true marron glace are left in syrup for days
That's true. Think this is more of a shortcut. Not many want to slave for days on food nowadays
He did an episode where he made them, said to dip them in to the sugar syrup once a day for 10 days
No offence but it’s not really the real thing, give more love to the way you make this and give more time and your experience will be much better 😌
