Hello Everyone! Its Tiffany with Thrifting Vegas. I shop at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales and discount stores for items I can resell for a profit on online platforms like eBay, Poshmark and Offer-Up.
Its Friday evening and its 103 degrees in Las Vegas! Having just come from the cool mountain climate of Navajo Lake in Utah, I was happy to get into Goodwill's air conditioning and thrift my favorite local store.... not only did i find a mystery item, but I found treasure in just about every aisle. Thrift with me and learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf and why. Stay to see everything I purchased in my haul where my sweet Tabby cat Ziggy takes a bath in the Goodwill takehome box and supervises my videography. I have a Posh account and my sales have completely dropped off. I usually sell 7-15 per week i only sold 5 all month. I have items that would have sold for $150 last year now marked at $40 and still not selling!

I made that same little girl piece and framed it for my mom, probably sometime in the 70s. I also framed it at Aaron Bros it a beautiful gold w/ linen lined frame but sold it for a few $ at a garage sale a few years ago. $75, who knew!

This video was extra fun to see, One of my favorite art pieces hanging on my wall, is the exact same cruel stitched artwork of the young girl. Of course the frame is different. I wonder if this was a kit that people stitched and then framed. It’s funny, because I found mine at the Goodwill too. I love it so much.
That little girl is done in counted cross stitch.. crewel is much bulkier. Just a little hint.. I do the cross stitch. The little knots are called French Knots.. fun to do! Worth every penny of the $75.00. They take a long time to complete, then do all of the outlining.. glad you recognized the skill involved.

Tiffany this was a fabulous haul. Your picture is gorgeous. I would actually have trouble parting with that. I have said it before and I will say it again, BEAR MAKES ME LOL! He is so well trained and responds to commands perfectly.

We have lots of Cracker Barrel restaurants here in the south also. There cast iron skillets sell good here but the old skillets from way back when that were my Grandparents & parents are worth lots more. :)

I think you may be selling that crewel piece too low. The intricacy I would think would garner closer to $150-200 - if not even more. I hope you're planning to put on eBay with a starting bid of $75. I think you'll be surprised at how much it brings in. You've got a good eye! Happy 4th and blessings to you and your sweet family!

At times stamp 2435 you picked up some scrolled hangers. I don't know how much they were but I used them everywhere for the inside of windows or at the top of doorways or even to hang things on. I wish you had bought those

Hi Tiffany, that’s a Tibetan prayer wheel . We turn it clock wise and do our chanting. We put it at the alter or somewhere high. Good find. I am a Tibetan myself. Love your finds. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Just before the heavy concrete w moss planter there was a possible MacKENZIE CHILDS little planter, you should always check out the courtly check (bl&wh signature check) certainly worth picking up!

We have Cracker Barrels all over the Southeast as well. They are fun!
I also think signs aren’t as popular but I do think people are picking them up to use it as a clean slate to make something else out of it. Just like that ampersand. I would get that and use the colored plank wood for other things.

I think that the glasses with the red plastic probably went with a Markers Mark Bourbon set. They put red wax on their bottles.

can you do a video on how you package things for shipping? especially ceramics/delicate items.
Good idea
If you have tape stuck on items, you can use ea heat hun or dryer to soften the glue under the tape and it gets it off a lot easier.

That framed needlework piece is fabulous! So well done and such pretty colors. And it’s an incredible framing job. Absolutely beautiful! I used to do all sorts of needlework, including needlepoint and crewel and this was a labor-intensive project. It would have taken a lot of time and skill to complete. It’s just exquisite! And it looks quite large.
I also loved the little green-yellow bird with the curly tail. My granddaughter (turning 3 tomorrow) would love that nightlight - she has owls outside her bedroom window at night and she’s obsessed! I’ll bet the Lenox votive or tea light holder is pretty when lit at night. And I remember the green pot from my youth. Such a pretty framed tile, too!

Pls, pls make sure people know those were what people asked for prices, not sold prices under Google lens. They need to go under ebay abd check sold comps. They will argue allday that is the price it's worth when it's not. Thank you for your channel
I found two Glassybaby candle holders at a vintage store - they were $45 each so I didn't get them, but I'm really glad I saw them in person so I know what to look for. They were much larger than I realized.
