I bought this for my Honda CRF 300L (the one made specifically for this bike). Unbelievably, and to my horror, it completely covers the top of the instrument cluster and hides the neutral light, the ABS light, the engine management light, and the indicator lights!!! AdventureSpec, how could you make such a fundamental error in design and what can you do for me to overcome this?
I have also installed it on my Crf 300l and the same thing happens to me, so far I have supplemented it with 2 nuts on each side, at least bending my head slightly I can see the turn signals, I plan to make thicker aluminum or stainless steel supplements so that it frees enough and get to see the top of the panel. But that's not the only problem I've detected, Adventure Spec mini fairing vibrates a lot and that I will also try to solve or manufacture 2 suspenders or something like that, but it will be later. Greetings from Spain.
Gary, the 2 nuts have to be placed in the place that is tied to the fork, that is, between the support and the fork anchorages. There are 2 nuts on the left fork and another 2 on the right fork. The point is to move the mini fairing forward, as much as necessary, or until you get to see the upper indicators of the instrument panel. Have I explained myself well?
Thanks for this, we couldn’t say for sure as we haven’t tested this directly ourselves. But if you go to the product page, all of the dimensions are given in this image slider!
Greg, thanks for this informative video. This type of setup is definitely on my shopping list as I recently bought a CRF250L to get into some more off road riding which has been inspired by your ‘light it right’. I see from your comment to another viewer that the 250L version is still in production. I might look into the 450L version and adapt it as Brexit is coming and a factor for us EU guys. Will Adventure Spec UK apply UK VAT if exporting or what is the plan, as I do not see any info on the website?
Hi Dave, was this just for the fairing or different products also? Please contact us on our helpdesk and we'll check it for you www.adventurespec.com/contactus Thanks

I would like to see pics of someone who tries to mount the universal to handle bars with a crossbrace seems from what I can see it can be done, just the mount would basically butt up to the crossbrace? Asking because I have a crf450rl and I use triple clam mounted handle bar crash guards, the supplied hardware and longer bolts might not accept the bracket for the dedicated 450l model? Anyone have the same zeta set up on their 450l and use the mini fairing as well/mount fine? Thx
Hi Paul, if you'd like to send this through to head office the guys there will be able to give you a bit more info: www.adventurespec.com/contactus Thanks
No. Some of our customers have adapted the 450L version to fit their 250Ls so it can be done. We have a 250L version in production but we don't have a release date for it yet.
Looks like a great option for my 690, however I would add a suggestion that perhaps AS look at a full replacement fairing (one piece or better integration into current fairing). The look of the two fairings is not a good one. Looks really cheap and not symetrical. I would pay more $ to have a more finished product. Will prob purchase and possible fabricate one.
Hi Jim - thanks for your comment. There's plenty of options for the 690 if you want a full fairing. Our option is for riders who are looking for a simple cost effective alternative that mounts on any dirt bike. 🙂
All of the instructors at the enduro training camp I have partecipated to was screaming me "don't look down in front of your bike! Look far away! Keep your head up!"

Very nice, very simple, and reasonably priced too.
Glad you like it!
Love this mini fairing. Will buy it for my exc !!
Excellent timing in the video gents, literally everything is out of stock
Odd to post the video when all colors are out of stock on your website.
Looks awesome bud cheers 👍🏻

@@jamocerwin5841 Yes, thank you very much, that is a good explanation. Are the standard bolts long enough?
I'm sorry but I don't know how to post a photo on RUclips. Look at my profile picture to see if you can see it there!
Will this mini fairing fit with ROX 1 3/4 Pivoting Risers on my 2024 KTM EXC-F 500? Concerned about bar mount width with the risers.

This would have been handy a couple of months ago before I fitted the Lynx fairing to my 690R 👍
Semplicemente geniale!!! Cheers
Does it fit a Husqvarna 701 2020? And when will white be back again in Stock? 😄

We are due a Hard Parts re-stock very soon
Perfect, so I will wait :)
Its quite sad how long it takes until the EU store starts trading...
You think it will open within this Year?
Will the universal fairing fit my 450l? I have the 450l version but dislike how it mounts and I much prefer the design of the newer version.
The universal fairing is designed to fit 22mm or 28mm handlebars without a cross brace.
We're I can buy this .

I was surprised to find the handlebar mounts are 3d printed plastic, but as long as they do the job that's all that matters.
It needs to be clear to see where your placing your front tire.
