Yes, Tae's voice is so rich and has a lovely melted caramel tone. This song is sooooo short, more like a coda than anything. I wanted it to be much longer. So beautiful. Need a loop.

& I agree, I thought the same about “Rainy Days” and “Blue” too, they could’ve easily been 30 minutes longer imo 😂
To answer your question on 8:10, Yes! He did finally walk through the door on the last day of his encore concert. What's amazing about BTS's MVs is that they're based on a storyline that would really make us question and wonder. I guess we'll have to find out for V. :D BTW, if you loved the beat on this, you may want to check out his Tiny Desk Korea performance. It's AMAZING!
AGUST D did eventually walk through that door from "Amygdala". On the very last day of his tour, he ended an extremely emotional concert by smiling and walking through the door. The next day it was announced that he was beginning the enlistment process for his mandatory military service. He let everything go, and is now looking toward the future. Heartbreakingly beautiful.
V, in a similar fashion, set this album up as a bit of a cliffhanger. He called it "LayoVer" because it's meant to be a temporary stop between destinations. Which I think is what heartbreak is also. We all have to experience at some point in our lives, but it's just an unfortunate pause in our journey. And immense beauty, like V's voice, the instrumentations, the lyrics, the videos, is often born out of heartbreak. Makes me really look forward to whatever his next solo project might be.
I highly recommend checking out some of the live performances he's been doing over the past few weeks, even if you do it in your own time. I fully believe he made this album with the intent of performing with a live band. Specifically I would check out his appearances on IU's "Palette" and "Tiny Desk Korea". STUNNING vocals, and the level of artistry from the musicians is insane.
I hope you do eventually decide to listen to some BTS. Seven amazing soloists in one group is definitely something to behold. But even if you don't, I'm glad you've at least uncovered how talented the members are individually.

Taehyung has worked so hard on this Album . Lots of hints too through every song and MV of his beautiful mind and stunning vocals. He seems to use his vocals to bewitch the listener, you can’t help but want more… Taehyung ‘s vocals are so captivating, beautiful. I just keeping listening over and over !! I’ve not found an other album that’s done that!!!!!

BTS are so amazing together but also incredible as soloists, each artist exploring different genres and they always give 10/10. Tae really killed it, such a gorgeous voice.
Last scene portrays, him self promoting his own album.. irony of being from the biggest band of world but ending up alone and doing all on your own.. layover is a pit stop before he takes his leap..

I really do feel like V is just the type of artist who could very easily pass off an entire EP he wrote about his DOG as it being about a past lover... I mean, it's just very sad that for many reasons he had to give up looking after his dog (Yeontan) himself and had to send him to his parents' home - and he is *exactly *the type of person who would feel broken by that and decide to write a whole album about it 😂💜
Bts really were super down in 2018 to the point of thinking about disbanding, v felt so burned out at that time and he revealed lately in suichwita (suga's show) that he even tried to hurt himself (we know what that means) this album is just him thinking about the past and letting it go, the hard times only made him stronger and made his true colors shine like who would thought of an album like this when talking about a kpop idol?? I really hope u get into bts especially the old bts and then move on to the new ones cuz that's how u ll know why the hell they r this big I'd love to suggest some and we will wait for ur bts reactions! I'd love to see u reacting to V's singularity cuz I feel like (the whole Fandom) it's the best solo song of V to ever exist I promise u ll LOVE IT, loooooove ur reactions looking forward to the future!

I believe he moved on and is on layover until 2025. The epilogue seems as if it’s all just memories now but has left the door slightly ajar. He has left the choice up to that person but he is finally cool with the relationship they do or don’t have. In other words it is what it is, no more no less. Acceptance.👍👍✌️💘🐯👑🐻💜♥️💜♥️💜

Teddy, Yoongi opens that door and wave to ARMY smiling on his last show of his tour, in Soul. It was magical. Everybody cried.
And, about Taehyung, the trip to the beach was a produce of his imagination (or even a recreation of a good time already past), to where he went in order to escape from his reality when his lover is no more. That's what I read from all the MVs. Brilliant and so beautiful 💗

His was my favourite album of last year. Even though I loved all the other solo albums of the other members, V's was my favourite❤
There's a lot of people saying its just about losing a lover But Tae explains this on an interview: My album. it's layover. I think there's no straight line to my life's final destination. So the album's title implies that I, who'd been just running non-stop, look back and think about what I am good at, what I like and reach that destination at slower/steady pace."
By the way as an Army, as a Tae biased thanks for all the appreciation, Tae as an artist is like his love me again outfit.... pure gold. ❤
And the dog, Yeontan is on the cover haha, he has been with him.for 7 years. The little dog has even health issues, but I think is the one that has been with him the most on all these years in Bts where there have been so many experiences and feelings.
At the end of his tour, Yoongi( Suga/AgustD) went through that door. It was such a beautiful wrap up🫡 And V, our velvety voice Kim Taehyung, is just amazing. So proud of all of their solo stuff💜
I recommned checking out his 2018 solo song 'Singularity' that was released under the BTS tag. Its neo-soul genre.

In true BTS fashion - the lyrics are up to interpretation. He's talking about love, friendships, his dog, ARMY, all of it. The listener decides what they need in that moment. Also, don't be sad for V. He is also an actor and so can emote so well on screen but is truly a fun loving spirit. On one of the group's trips, he and his camera guy got separated from the rest of the group. While the rest of them were frantically worried about him, he went for a walk and found some nice views, completely unconcerned and just enjoying life. He is a very hard worker but he's always looked to enjoy even the hard work.

With Amygdala Yoongi said in his behind the scenes that he wanted to end the MV with him opening the door, but ultimately the production team had him leave it closed b/c they are absolutely MASTERMINDS! The whole DDay tour was a journey of literally dismantling that room he was stuck in, the actual panels of the stage were lifted up to the ceiling by 2s until there's no stage left, journeying through his personas of Agust D & Suga until all that remained was Min Yoongi...and at the end of the final final concert he did walk through the door. Very powerful ending with a lot of emotion and catharsis. He said he started planning his Agust D releases as a trilogy so this was 7 years in the making. I've never experienced anything like it before.
Agust D walked through the door at his last concert of his tour. They had the door on the stage and he literally walked through it at the very end. he had a very emotional concert. I watched it online, because it was in Korea. Then the next day, BIg Hit music announced he started the enlistment process.
Taehyung's dog, KIM Yeontan or Tannie, is okay, and in V's possession. But he had to leave Tannie to do this project, because he can't take him to Spain, which is where all five videos were filmed (fake Tannie was an acting double). And a lot of his promotions he can't take him with. He did recently though, on stage, he had Tannie with him for a music show in South Korea. It was really cute, he was on stage with him.
I really don't know wh0 V was talking about in his videos, but he could be talking about BTS members, ARMY, his family, a loved one or partner We literally know nothing about their private personal lives other than what they share with us, and that is everything BTS and his dog, and all of the behind the scenes content and documentaries. But families and love interests they don't share a lot of information on. Love interests - we only know about surface stuff on relationships or crushes they had before their became BTS.

9:06 The lyrics are from Suga’s heart directly to us, everything mentioned in the song is real, the fact is so fucking sad, I believe that he is the most talented man alive, and this album is just like the other albums “ D2 /Agust D..” is perfect, his songs are just a bunch of masterpieces, I'm speechless when it comes to Suga, I’ll never regret knowing him, I'm blessed to listen to his songs that touch my pain so deeply, we can't express this man’s talent into words! He’s been always this singer, the singer who is not afraid to show his emotions and someone who puts his pain and his soul into his works, he can be the fastest rapper ever who doesn't need an oxygen and he can make the most overwhelmed and heartbreaking songs that make you cry because this talented man can make anything that would be also a piece of art!
His whole album is a mood, and even Tae (V) says he made it to listen to the songs consecutively. Honestly, since he released it, I made a playlist of all the songs he's produced, which includes his OSTs and listen to it as my "sleep" playlist every night.
You basically are a full blown Chapter 2 ARMY at this point huh? You love pretty much all of their solos! Teddy has seen the light🤪

Actually Suga is fucking genius, he put a door on the stage at one of his concerts and ended the concert by getting out of the door, a way of telling us that he made the way out and he saved himself, I'm so happy for him, also he changed a lot in the way I think, after listening to “Amygdala” for the First time, I felt so much better, I felt that I'm not alone, I’m so Reconciled with myself now, I'm so grateful

Teddy, you need to react to V's Stigma. It's one of his best songs in my opinion. Oh and just to chill your curiosity, Agust D finally walked through that door on at the end of his last concert. Since you're a Hop Hop head/representer like me, you need to react to BTS' Cyphers (1, 2, 3 & 4). I'm not a fan of Cypher 1 but the other three are fire!
I think Yeontan (the dog V has and loves to bits), is taken care of by his mum.

you would have absolutely LOVED to watch the very last concert of Agust D-SUGA tour... this concert was just - probably one of my, if not THE, best concerts ever... and I wasn't even there. It was electric in there, so much emotion. Yoongi broke down a few times and that just made ARMY sing even louder and not just the fanchant parts, but some of the raps too. Normally Yoongi just walks straight out at the end of the encore after having performed "The Last" as the last song... HOWEVER, at the very very end of the this last concert, the white door from Amygdala appeared... it all made so much sense. It was just INCREDIBLE imagery. He was telling us so much about him and his mental states threw this album and concert set-ups. Jin and j-hope were there in the crowd (on their break from the military), as were a lot of their juniors, and RM who also was a secret guest performing Strange with Yoongi and an unreleased song from his future album.

Hello Trey, this was a song that wraps it all up. In Slow dancing he is creating his own world and i think in For Us he finally realises that she is not coming back . The songs are all connected but not his own story💜

I have an answer to your Amygdala question about the door. His concert series D-Day The Final on day 3 you can find it on RUclips, but after a very emotional and moving final few songs, He does walk through the door at the end of the concert.
