The song can't help falling in love was first sung by Elvis than Tomee Proffitt made a Dark version which is in minor key where Elvis is in major. When Diana sang it for Show Mask Go On its to me extremely primal and elemental and Diana I felt was singing to this planet... the visuals of the performance are jaw dropping beautiful! We are lucky to have this one of a kind voice. Diana (dee Ah nuh) was the youngest of 10 children born to her "mother", and the only one to survive. As said by another she was abandoned at the age of 3, with a broken collar bone, at a bus stop in Russia during the winter. The therapist assigned to work with Diana fell in love with her, but it was her 17 year old daughter who insisted her mother adopt Diana, who was 5 at the time, or she would as soon as she turned 18. After she was adopted it was determined that Diana's birth "mother" had tried to drown her at least once. Some time after Diana was adopted, she was moved far away to be close to Moscow and because she was having nightmares that her birth "mother" would come to steel her back. Diana is called The Queen Of Goosebumps and a Russian Princess. Aside from being an Contralto she has another rare trait, she does Polyphonic singing, meaning she can sing two notes at the same time. The original videos have a lot of views ( over a hundred million iirc) but are not accessible due to certain politics going on in the world right now (!). Yes, Diana Ankudinova is Russian. This performance was when she was 15. She's now 18. She is, in my view, the most unique and original vocal performer in the world. She's been gaining traction online since she was 14. She recently hit 1 million subscribers on her RUclips channel and her total views for all her performances must be pushing near to a billion views. She launched her first album recently. I'd recommend Rechenka (age 14), Dernier Danse (14), I can't help falling in love (18), and the Crow (18).

She sings in overtones. A better video in my opinion is her cover of "can't help falling in love"..but in all honesty the confusion doesn't go away. She has an enormous voice box and her low tones are low for a man. Voice teachers/coaches are going mad for her.

Your astonishment is not exceptional! Diana is an unique contralto (dramatic contralto) her comfort range is C3-C6 but in constant evolution. Diana uses many vocal techniques rarely used in pop music (like overtones, yodel, and some from lyric chant....). The one that seems to amaze people the most is multitonal (polyphonic) voice. The root notes are enriched with powerful harmonics which can give the impression that there are several overlapping voices or an artificial effect which gives this result.
This technique is used in Slavic folk music, like Bulgarian vocal groups or artists like Pelageya (ruclips.net/user/OlegSemyonov73videos), the Russian folk diva. I cannot tell you exactly how these artists achieve this result, I was just told that it is linked to the simultaneous use of the different resonators of the human body and that such a mastery of the voice and of the breath with such a fluidity requires years of work, Diana has been singing on stage and has been taking singing and performing arts lessons since the age of 6!
She has become famous in the broadcast "You're Great!" ("You are Super"), a song contest reserved for children who have had a difficult start in life. This is the case of Diana who was mistreated and ended up in an orphanage at 3 years old.

You have just listened to what may be a true contralto. “Diana Ankudinova, A Russian National Treasure” (My opinion), I have been following her for awhile. She is another very interesting story that you will discover. Wait until you hear “Wicked Games”, “Take On Me”, "Human" or "Rechenka" Even though it is in Russian you still feel the emotion behind it. I've heard her sing in Russian, English, French, German, Arabic and Spanish so far. No matter what language it is beautiful.

The song can't help falling in love was first sung by Elvis than Tomee Proffitt made a Dark version which is in minor key where Elvis is in major. When Diana sang it for Show Mask Go On its to me extremely primal and elemental and Diana I felt was singing to this planet... the visuals of the performance are jaw dropping beautiful! Absolutely recommend watching it if possible if it's not blocked here in America because of the Russian government

Known affectionately as the "Queen of Goosebumps", her deep vocal timbre can pierce your very soul. Her rise to fame came through this very TV show you just watched called "You Are Super", a show to help orphaned and disadvantaged children to achieve music scholarships and reach their dreams. Diana won the season starting out at the tender age of 14. The following season she was invited back to compete against previous winners/finalists and she won that Superseason also at the age of 15. This performance is from a show on Russian television four years ago when Diana was 15 years old. Since then it has garnered tens of millions of views on RUclips. The version that you reacted to came from some third party that apparently downloaded the original video and only recently dropped it on RUclips thus the only relatively low number of views. We are lucky to have this one of a kind voice. Diana (dee Ah nuh) was the youngest of 10 children born to her "mother", and the only one to survive. As said by another she was abandoned at the age of 3, with a broken collar bone, at a bus stop in Russia during the winter. The therapist assigned to work with Diana fell in love with her, but it was her 17 year old daughter who insisted her mother adopt Diana, who was 5 at the time, or she would as soon as she turned 18. After she was adopted it was determined that Diana's birth "mother" had tried to drown her at least once. Some time after Diana was adopted, she was moved far away to be close to Moscow and because she was having nightmares that her birth "mother" would come to steel her back. Diana is called The Queen Of Goosebumps and a Russian Princess. Aside from being an Contralto she has another rare trait, she does Polyphonic singing, meaning she can sing two notes at the same time. The original videos have a lot of views ( over a hundred million iirc) but are not accessible due to certain politics going on in the world right now (!). Yes, Diana Ankudinova is Russian. This performance was when she was 15. She's now 18. She is, in my view, the most unique and original vocal performer in the world. She's been gaining traction online since she was 14. She recently hit 1 million subscribers on her RUclips channel and her total views for all her performances must be pushing near to a billion views. She launched her first album recently. She sings in overtones. A better video in my opinion is her cover of "can't help falling in love"..but in all honesty the confusion doesn't go away. She has an enormous voice box and her low tones are low for a man. Voice teachers/coaches are going mad for her.
She came from the same alien ship as Dimash. And was sent to mesmerize us with the true potential of a contralto
