Thanks for sharing your adventures Tobias! I really like how you seem to stay calm and positive in the face of all kinds of small and large technical setbacks which can be quite daunting. Good stuff!
Beautiful stuff. It iBeautiful stuff. It is great to see someone who keeps tracks of this old and awesome machines. Enjoying it so far! Greetings from an english speaking Berliner.
Great work and great video! Even though it was a very highly-advanced project requiring your expert skills, It reminded me of that excitement of college and setting up our first studios. Looks like they will make great music there! Looking forward to the next video.
Yes! For me too it had a nice feeling of starting a Studio somewhere in a Room with an Interface and Speakers - plus in this case a large format console 😉 Thanks for following along and all the best, Tobi
Thank you! As far as my experiences with ADT go: they need initial maintenance as so far every console I saw being sold was in need of „tender love and care“. Once they run and you know how to work the contacts, meaning switches and the patchbay, you are good. The initial setup can be tricky tho as ADT does not hand out schematics ;) Hope that helps. All the best, Tobi
Hard to say…I‘ve seen vintage Tridents go for less than 10k but you rarely see an ADT go for over 20k, the ADTs are more often in tougher shapes than tridents sich seem to be taking care of well. Hope that helps! All the best, Tobi
Rad! You have an Email, or IG? I'm just curious if I could ask you a few questions, because theres an ADT near me Im looking at getting maybe. Just wondering if I can reach out!
