The band nails the first rule of cover bands: the singer has to be as close to the original as possible. This gentleman here could very well audition to be Dave Gahan's stunt double in the studio. As for his stage presence, maybe a bit more spinning with the microphone stand otherwise he seems like he's enjoying himself and makes the crowd feel that energy and enthusiasm.
I will even say this is where DM failed as they didn’t do what was done here for this very song that a lot loved. Don’t get me wrong about Martin g take on his live slow version as it is his song but this song was meant to be fast and electronic and is what attracted me

I mean The Cure never played "Burn" (featured on the soundtrack to the movie "The Crow") live until the 2013 Voodoo Music Experience fest in New Orleans. Radiohead swore never to play "Creep" live after they got huge, but they eventually started playing it sporadically. Maybe there's an interview with Martin or Dave in which they explain why they don't play it live. I'd like to read it, but in the end it won't make much of a difference. It became its own thing of every club's DM theme night that the song is the last one played before closing time.

This cover band is still the best, I don't care much for look or able to copy the moves, it's the voice that counts.
