I'm building a steampunk city and the funwhole sets are so amazing! So glad that funwhole, pantasy and other companies are releasing good steam punk sets!
Awesome review of the new Steampunk Bridge. This is insanely huge! I am going to have a challenge recording my build. It does look great and lots of Figs to go with it. Also had to be the right side to send the Steampunk Retro car on it as well. Again you knocked it out of the park with the review. Awesome job you guys.🥰
I thought when I seen the one you lit up, that was wild this one blew my mind it is a wonderful build and thank you for going through all the details with us. It does help us a lot again a wonderful job great video once again.
Thank you for your time in producing such a detailed review of this set. I placed an order for the department set after watching your excellent review. You include all the little details and your knowledge base of the set is excellent. Really well done. I love the set just not sure I'd have the room to display it.
That is great and thank you so much for the kind words. This set is very large. Definitely need to have space ☺. Very fun build though and a very nice display piece.
Wow seeing you next to this bridge really shows how big it is. It’s super long and tall. I don’t have the space for this one so I’ll have to pass but wow it’s beautiful.
Wow! 3170! 😮😮 And to think that they’re all printed pieces! Very impressive!! This build looks sooo good. As always, FunWhole nailed it. I would like to see where you display this. Looking forward to that new shelf 😂😂😂 GREAT VIDEO!!!
I often hear on Funwhole reviews, when the price goes over $100 US, that the reviewers will say something to the effect of, "I know it is fairly high price...", and I always laugh. If you are a fan of Lego, and are used to paying Lego prices, Funwhole is practically giving away their sets, lol. This set, if it was made by Lego, would easily be close to $400. And they would not include all of those lights or near as many min-figures. Funwhole is an incredible value.
I am of the same mind set as you Noah. Even if you compare this to a Lego modular (just from a piece count perspective) this is still much less expensive. And this is much more grand and intricate than a modular. And The Lights 😁 Thank you for the support for our channel. ❤
Although I've never been into Steampunk stuff, this set really has me looking twice at it. Only thing is, I'd have to get rid of some of my Lego city buildings just to make room for it 😂. But well done Funwhole for another great set and at a reasonable (UK) price.
Same here Sandra. I have never been into Steampunk either but what a build!! It is large. I actually have it on a seperate shelf by itself and it looks beautiful. ☺ Thank you!! 🥰
That thing is beautiful! I was thinking about buying this for a couple that have ties in the U.K.. They also love steampunk. I had no idea that it was that big! How long & difficult was the build? Also, how much does it weigh?
It really is beautiful and is something that 2 people could build together. I think you have a great idea there! Book 1 is one tower of the bridge and book two is the other tower and then joining them and finishing the middle details. I didn't find it difficult, just need to be sure you turn those knobs the right way, and don't over turn them, to keep the technic in tact. I don't keep track of my build time but FunWhole says about 16 hours. Not sure how much it weighs, sorry. But I would not say it is heavy for the size, But it did take both of us to move it, just to be careful. Thank younfor the support.🥰
I built this also. The qr codes on the manuals dont work. Tje first manuals qr code leads to a 5 page document that is completely blank, and the one on the 2nd sends you to instructions for a different set
Oh no. I used the books because the pdf instructions were't yet uploaded but sounds like there was an issue for sure. I have passed this along to FunWhole. Thank you Lee!!! ☺ Did you enjoy the build though?
It really is and they really are!! ☺ We are actually working on a video about moving it, lol. I had to move it to the Studio mid build and finish it there ☺
Wow! Really nice! Nice review! Is that cute little cabin, next to the phonograph a funwhole set too? Every time you review a set, I see I set I need to buy!😊
Haha, thank you. Yes, that is the FunWhole Mountain Cabin. We actually reviewed it a few months ago. A great set as well. ☺ Thank you for the ongoing support Robby ❤🥰
Amazing. Excuse me: AMAZING! I have neither the money or space for everything and I have to be selective (especially after recent retirement/two kids just started college/one completing) but a magnificent beautiful classy set. 🅰️➕➕➕
I’m looking forward to building this set! I’m thinking of not wiring it for the lights. Sometimes it takes away from the building process for me. Do you think this is possible without too much issues? Thanks so much for reviewing this set
Totally understand. Sometimes you just want to sit down and click those bricks 😁. You will have no issue building this set, or any FunWhole set, without lights. I hope you enjoy this one ☺ Thank you so much for watching 🥰
I just got the police car from FunWhole would that fit through? It’s the first car I’ve gotten from them and wonder if it’s more narrow than a Lego speed champion since those cars fit two mini figs in the front
Steampunk is more of an alternate universe than it is an era. The idea is that culture and technology stagnated while time progressed. Basically, the question is proposed "What would it be like today if we never stopped using steam-powered engines for our new tech and victorian styles for our clothing and architecture?"
Would of liked to see a car passing through the bridge. Do the new current Lego speed champion cars fit through? I know Lego has made their cars a little wider now not sure how much wider.
I haven't built a speed champion in a while but the ones I have would not fit very smoothly, no. Other Lego cars that come with sets, like the pink convertable from the Diner or the truck that comes with Home Alone will fit well. ☺
But it would look great in your Lego ctiy 😄 I buy a lot of non-lego brands and I'm fairly forgiving of their various pros and cons but the one consistent thing that drives me nuts is the misspelling on prints and stickers. Often it's a deliberate but misguided attempt to make it look like they aren't infringing on IP (Star Wasr etc) but often there's no apparent reason for it and you just get the feeling that the job of making them was given to someone who doesn't understand English and this is the end result.
I believe the first lot of sets had the misspelt CTIY sign, but you can contact FO support and they'll send you a new, correctly spelled, sign for free. My set is still on it's way to me, hopefully it's from the new batch with correct spelling.
Steampunk is a genre, and not an era. It's often mixed with clockpunk for the aesthetics of gears everywhere. While it's often set in the Victorian era / early industrial revolution, nothing is stopping people from making a steampunk story set in the roman empire or a medieval era (Steamworld Quest could considered the latter). Did you know that nuclear reactors are just steam engines with extra steps? Instead of burning coal to make water boil to spin a turbine, we're using a nuclear reaction to boil water to make a turbine spin really fast!
Believe it or not I didn't even notice. Built the set, took tons of pictures and still only noticed it today. I have seen this with Lego as well. We also did a Community Post on this today. Thank you!!! ☺
At least FO have acknowledged it. I haven't got my City Bridge set yet, it's in the mail, but I got an email from FO stating if I get a misprint to contact them for a replacement. It's not like they are the only company that makes mistakes, Lego had spelling and printing issues with the Orient Express.
Too bad the actual bridge itself isn’t wide enough for 2 way traffic. I think the bridge would have looked amazing in a city with lots of traffic passing through.
@ I think that’s probably this sets biggest con that it’s a bridge that can’t fit cars even 1 way traffic. It’s kinda like the police car that has no back seat to take people to jail. The designs are stunning but missing the functionality
That thing is huge. Funhole is making a lot of cool sets.
Yup, a good size for sure, lol. FunWhole really id doing great things. 🥰
I'm building a steampunk city and the funwhole sets are so amazing! So glad that funwhole, pantasy and other companies are releasing good steam punk sets!
There really are some very cool Steampunk sets out there. I bet your city is going to look Amazing!! ☺ Thank you for the support ❤

Thank you so much Mark. ❤ It is very big and yes, lots of minigifs for the city. Really interesting build overall. ☺🥰
Wow! I dont normally build bridges as I dont have the space, but this set is Wowee 🤩
I hear you, it's pretty big! 😁 But also pretty fun and beautiful ☺🥰
@@SheClicksBricks Hehee I know, its wonderful, shocked myself with how much I liked it, thanks so much for the great video as usual! 🥰
☺🤣🥰❤ Thank you.

Great job! Love the build!
Thank you so much!!! It was a very fun build. ❤ We appreciate your support. 🥰
i love your reviews and love that you guys arent lego snobs. Fun hole is definitely upping their brick game and im eating it up! so nice set pieces!
We really appreciate your support, and yes, this company is putting out some really amazing sets these days! 🥰 Thank you ❤
Wow seeing you next to this bridge really shows how big it is. It’s super long and tall. I don’t have the space for this one so I’ll have to pass but wow it’s beautiful.
It is big so I understand. But yes, it is pretty stunning. ☺
Really cool. F.O has some neat stuff.
They really do a great job ☺
That is so big! So cool! Great review!

Damnnnnn, I need it now !!!!!! ❤❤❤

This set really is something else. Magnificent is a great word. Very interesting and fun build and pretty spectacular to display. ☺

What an ambitious set. If I had a steampunk city, I'd love to put that in it. Lego would charge twice as much for this set.
Ambitious is a great description, lol. Really fun build. ☺
And yes, Lego would certainly charge at least twice as much, and there woul be No Lights 🤣
I just got the police car from FunWhole would that fit through? It’s the first car I’ve gotten from them and wonder if it’s more narrow than a Lego speed champion since those cars fit two mini figs in the front
The plice car does not fit through it smoothly. This car is the same size as a speed champion, more made for a stand alone set. ☺
Steampunk is more of an alternate universe than it is an era. The idea is that culture and technology stagnated while time progressed. Basically, the question is proposed "What would it be like today if we never stopped using steam-powered engines for our new tech and victorian styles for our clothing and architecture?"
Thank you so much for sharing. I love that 🥰❤

I sure hope the sign tiles don't say CTIY Bridge in all the sets. That would be a big negative to me.
I would assume they would all be the same, but not sure.
But it would look great in your Lego ctiy 😄 I buy a lot of non-lego brands and I'm fairly forgiving of their various pros and cons but the one consistent thing that drives me nuts is the misspelling on prints and stickers. My favourite is my husband got a knock off of the MAERSK Train and the printed pieces say MOERSK, lol. 😂 I beleive you saw that video ☺
@@SheClicksBricks ah yes I remember that one 😄
I believe the first lot of sets had the misspelt CTIY sign, but you can contact FO support and they'll send you a new, correctly spelled, sign for free. My set is still on it's way to me, hopefully it's from the new batch with correct spelling.
Where I'll put this?? I don't care! I need it now!
Haha. We built another shelf 🤣 Looks great though 🥰❤

Very cool information. Thank you so much for sharing 🥰 🥰
Just got this for Christmas. How wide is the bridge and is it a car or train bridge?
Congrats. What a beast of a build. The bridge is 10 studs wide and is a car bridge. 🩷
@SheClicksBricks ok ty
Is the City bridge sign misspelled "Ctiy" on purpose or is that a misprint?
A misprint unfortunately. FunWhole is replacing the piece for anyone who has received it though.
Too bad there isn't a connecting shaft between the two towers, to raise or lower both bridges at the same time.
That is a very cool idea!! 🥰
"CTIY" bridge? Quality control is lacking in a very prominent spot. You didn't mention that in your list of negatives.
Believe it or not I didn't even notice. Built the set, took tons of pictures and still only noticed it today. I have seen this with Lego as well.
We also did a Community Post on this today. Thank you!!! ☺
Lego also has poor quality control, except for a much higher price.
At least FO have acknowledged it. I haven't got my City Bridge set yet, it's in the mail, but I got an email from FO stating if I get a misprint to contact them for a replacement.
It's not like they are the only company that makes mistakes, Lego had spelling and printing issues with the Orient Express.
That is so awesome that they reached out to you already. Thank you for sharing 🥰

“City” is missed spelled
Lol. It most certainly is. We actually just did a Community Post on that, lol ☺
I would prefer to get less minifigs that are more poseable and detailed kinda like how mega construx does it. Not a fan of the duplo like minifigs.
I can see the appeal for the Mega Contrux minifigs. They are so detailed and posable. They look more like mini action figures, wow ☺
