When an opening credit scene with bangin music can suck you in, you know its gonna be a good movie. And it is a very well made movie. Especially for a 250k budget.
@Ben Beesley it's the creativity and imagination that makes it so good. Before CGI the 70's and 80's classics your Halloween, A Nightmare on Elm St., Aliens, etc. all had amazing effects though they were low budget due to very creative practical effects. You should look at some of the behind the scenes footage from the classics. One great one was the making of Glen's and Tina's death scenes in the original 1984 A Nightmare on Elm St. It was fascinating to learn how they pulled that off.

Hearing this intro in the movie theater was such an amazing experience. Such an 80s vibe to it. The whole soundtrack was great along with how awesome this movie is. Simply the greatest horror flick in years!! Amazing job by all involved.

GOD...I FOUND IT, I FREAKING FOUND IT! This is what I've been looking for! This scene...her working on her legendary costume. GOD...the freaking music...it's just epic! 🥰😍🤩
I only found The Midnight from this opening, and it's such an amazing track I ended up enjoying the band as a whole. Synthwave will always have a special place in my heart 💜
Yeah I was shocked how much better this was than the first. The first one was watchable but terrible acting. This one feels like a cult classic already.
Couldn't have been a better fit right? Song rolls perfectly with the scene, "The Equaliser" (You're not Alone)... (Her father is with her the entire movie) #battleangel ... Just perfect 💜
My husband and I went to see it, I’m a huge fan of horror since I was little. Definitely grew up with 80’s horror movies because of my dad and seeing that this gave me an 80’s feel, I knew it was going to be good. Damien knew we loved the music choices, on his Instagram he asked if we would want more synthwave. So we could definitely expect more synthwave.
I saw this 5 times in theaters and always this intro got me right fucking into my sit pumped the end of the guitar shreakkng at the end sounds like screaming which was beautiful.
It was such a relief to see this after the first movie subjected us to so much sadism. This showed we had a chance of seeing someone avenge what happened in Terrifier.
Reminds me of the scene in nightmare on elm street 4 dream master where Alice gets ready to fight Freddy! Magnificently done with the midnight song in this scene very nostalgic.

I didn't get to see this film in theaters which is actually pretty good cuz I don't think I could stomach it but I did have the opportunity to recently watch it and I loved it. Lauren was AHMAZING. Her wings looked beautiful here (why would she spray paint her wings Over open candles?!!!!)
