Welcome to our Central Cee LA Leakers Freestyle Reaction!!! This is our latest video reaction from our new music reaction channel Beer’s & Bars. Here we listen, react, and breakdown bars while enjoying some of our favorite beers. Today we covered another fiery session from LA Leakers and this time we didn’t have to travel across the pond because Central Cee came to the US as he made a pit stop at LA Leakers!! This was unique how Central Cee was giving the US the UK Slang 101 period of instruction and it was done in such a brilliant way!! What a great introduction!! Welcome to the US Central Cee!! Wagwan - a Jamaican word brought to the UK by the wind rush generation. Translates directly to what’s going on? Or what’s happening

UK Modern Slang is very Jamaican influenced in thanks partly to the windrush generation and also the rise of the yardies.

i like how central cee is pushing into the american scene, i’ve always thought it’s something dave should’ve done as if one of them blows up it puts UK artists on the map for US rap fans and it’ll blow up the UK scene even more

How have you never heard wagwan. It's the most stereotypical Jamaican saying ever. Btw they call it UK Slang. But it's really mostly Caribbean slang. ALOT of UK especially Londoners are just 1st, 2nd, 3rd generation Caribbean people. Windrush babies. Our Caribbean culture is what has influenced their slang.

“it’s only an hour away that’s why i spend time in paris” i’m glad he said this cus a lot of US people see UK people going to paris or spain or something and think of it like they were going, because obviously it’s a long flight from the US to europe but it’s like a couple hours away from the UK so he’s basically saying it’s not that far away that’s why i’m there a lot

in the UK our slang is heavily influenced by Jamaican patois, West African/pidgin English and South Asian slang or colloquialism because most of us POCs are first generation or second generation immigrants.
