It's so cool to think that people are actually worried that the earth will commit suicide. This has went from an educational channel to a lore one very quickly
I have to add this because some people might comment otherwise. Of course earth won't commit. It doesn't make sense to get rid of such an important character in the story.

I noticed another thing about Earth’s personality.
He’s pretty impulsive and quick to action once he’s made up his mind. Like, he doesn’t sit and just think about something passively.
Once he began to feel guilty, he doesn’t think about the making first step to improvement that Mercury talked of. He doesn’t even hesitate about attempting suicide. Instead, he SMILES as he heads towards the Sun.
Even when he was paranoid about the Sun destroying them all in the future, he didn’t sit still and was continuously looking for drastic ways to survive the catastrophe.
He even puts up with us even as we’re trashing him and tries to not dwell on it for long and keeps trying so that we can become even more advanced civilisations.
I bet it’s a habit he developed in his endless endeavours to have life. Even after facing multiple extinctions and ice ages, he kept working hard to have life. He’s actually pretty ambitious and active, eh?

This is why we dont leave depressed people alone and give up on them
SEL lessons were always wrong and this episode is an amazing example. Mercury took the same path most of us take when we see a depressed person. We’re kinda fed that a depressed person can take care of themself by themself with a little help instead of the preferred option of actually sticking through the whole process. I feel so bad for Earth bro, that’s not a good mindset 😭😭

the backstory of earth trying to make life reminded me of social media influencers and school kids wanting to feel special for something and how that can lead to self worth issues. The ending was spot on.
The ending is the most depressing one, this really went from a simple cartoon to full lore potential

Earth is depressed of course, his thoughts worsens and worsens further as he is self-reflecting. That, of course; lead to suicide as he doesn't seem to find a way to fix it. He has emotions just like us (Idk what his pronouns are since they're just celestial bodies and pixels).

🌎Theory: Long after Theia’s death, when Earth started having life, he was super nice and caring. But then the Permian extinction, the Dinosaur extinction lowered his confidence but still he was determined to have life afterwards. But then humans came and took advantage of him so only recently in the past 150 years or so he was an egocentric so he can feel special and try to get rid of the negative feeling. Now the episode The Earth Alone pt 2, it reviles his true colors.

it makes me think that the Earth was nor rude just because he felt above everybody for having life; he was rude all those times because when the earthlings took advantage of him like he didn't matter, he probably just didn't want to feel worthless, he wanted to act above everybody so he wasn't a nobody

Can't believe that this Channel went from short, funny and educational videos to long, educational, Story driven and emotional videos in such a short time.
To be honest, I think it's more focused on lore. I think it lost it's educational value.

After watching this I literally been crying the whole night
God. This really really triggered something in me. And not the angry kind of way. This whole video really struck me to the core and hits a level of deep that I didn't know was possible. It was so painful (physically and mentally) to watch and relate to Earth in a personal level.
Okay, that ending definitely hit hard, as someone who has had thought numerous times that the world and everyone else would be better off without me, that ending had me in tears a little.
First thought to be a funny show from the beginning, now turned into a series with a WHOLE lore.
When I saw this channel from MrSpherical, I was like; "Nah I'm uninterested, but I'm gonna look forward to it!" Now look at me now. WHAT HAVE MY MIND COME UPON TO

I feel like covering serious topics is not for this channel since it was supposed to be a "family friendly" and educational channel. And also covering serious topics might trigger some people (for example one of my friends got triggered from the ending).
@@TheCaramella - It definitely caught me off gaurd too, and I don't recall them giving a warning. I also hope your friend is okay. I also have dealt with that topic before and have tried to get myself outta here too if you know what I mean. But I do think that this is okay, if that makes sense? They're keeping it pretty light-hearted for the most part. I believe this is their way of showing that the Earth is at it's limit and that we - the humans - need to do better. Yes, it's dark. Maybe they should've given a warning. But I'd like to think it's beneficial. It's educating us in a way it'll get our attention.
Oh my goodness... I can relate with Earth here. I have been through times when I thought I was a terrible person. Those were times when I thought that all I did was hurt other people; that I was a terrible person who had no reason to exist. I thought I was a nuisance to everyone I met and I never meant anything good to anybody. The solution, I thought, was simply that: stop existing. Stop living. If I don't exist, I can't be a burden to the world... (I didn't actually try, but I thought about it.)
But that is not true. It was a combination of me being extremely hard on myself and being overly sensitive about what others think. I know better now. The people I interact with love me and have faith in me. The people I interact with help me bring out my best self.
I hope Earth realizes this before it is too late. Thank you, SolarBalls, for showing it so accurately.

My theory: as earth goes towards the sun, Ganymede and Titan realise that earth is in his most vulnerable state, and decide to take advantage of him and prompt him to continue going towards the sun, but Venus will see whats going on and try to stop him.

earth alone part 1 and 2 broke me into pieces. the scene with earth's hallucinations reminded me of unpleasant memories, the sudden silence sent chills down my spine. i never realized how the earth is a very deep and well written character until now. his suicidal thoughts broke me... it like stabbed me or something, it reminded me of who i used to be. these recent episodes were heartbreaking, and i just wanna say that the solarballs team did an excellent job on this series. it never fails to amaze me how they wrote something like this. thank you for everything solarballs team, if i could i would support y'all's patreon but i don't have money

I don't think so. You could be right, but I think Venus is going to stop him. He's the only one who was involved who we haven't seen, and because of how toxic and heartless he seems, it would be pretty interesting to see him stop Earth, or god forbid attempt to stop. (By attempt to stop, I mean he fails. Not that he doesn't care.) Then again, you could be perfectly right.

honestly I almost wanted to cry this episode showed how depressed someone can get over something that it drives them to extreme precautions. Earth is at his breaking point knowing what he did and how he hurt the people he hurt. Here are my theory for next episode: venus is gonna see him going toward the sun and ask "what are you doing"? but earth isn't gonna say anything and venus will try to stop earth and Mars will see what's going on and try to help Earth. The sun might even wonder why the earth is gonna toward him. Sad to see earth might want to you know.... anyway love this channel ❤

@@boneboi_amir5235i doubt it. Titan said that the only way they will be seen as equals to planets is to get rid of Earth, so if anything, it will make this suicide an easier job. Plus, Titan already has life under the ocean so if anything it will make him the new Earth (a position of power he will probably want to accept or protect from Ganymede and Europa)
