I was blessed by God through my 21 yr old son to level up from being homeless on bicycle to being homeless with vehicle and had help from my son and my son helped me to purchase used 2010 Dodge Journey which is pretty easy also but different setup under hood.
The filter case has 2 clamps just release clamp levers n remove filter n clean or replace.
Had oil change, next week need tune up and find out what causing knocking when turning left n right klunk sound.

Thanks so much for the directions. I have a slightly different configuration on my Journey 2.4 SE, and it was easier still to replace following your directions. However, I hear a high-pitched whistling sound, which gets louder as the air knob is turned higher. Could I have missed something? Thanks.

Remove cover again and re adjust. Could be the filter wasn't seated correctly.
