I know, the only reason why people like the game’s story is because they think it’s going to affect BoTW2. This game has so many dumb cliches and the writing is so lazy.
I almost skipped this video bc of the merch push at the beginning, but I'm so glad I stayed. It was highly entertaining. I did learn anything new probably mainly bc Im watching it a year later and I skipped the spoiler segment. But I enjoyed the presentation of the information and I also enjoyed the accent. 👍🏿 Great job
My theory is that as soon as egg travelled back for the first time, the timeline was spilt in two. One with the egg to help stop the calamity, and one without. The one with egg was successful in stopping the calamity (this being the timeline we just had in age of calamity) and the one without the egg failed to stop the calamity, resulting in BOTW and presumably BOTW2 meaning that there were two versions of age of calamity in two different timelines with one having ended after age of calamity and there won't be any games in that timeline again, and the other being the failed attempt, resulting in BOTW , it's sequel, and other games that come out after that
Can we just talk about the amount of time and creativity wood puts into his videos? I can’t think of a single other RUclipsr that goes the same distance. Thanks for another great video 😊

Not really a Zelda fan, but botw and HW stole my heart! Really sad that I couldn’t see how Hyrule looked like before Ganon destroyed it in botw as the gameplay of HW is hack-and-slash

Age of Calamity went in a direction i honestly never thought it would, and i am happy about it. the story was changed DRASTICALLY in less than 2 minutes and it was done spectacularly!! the music as well!! omg YES the music! this game alone has made me want to get a Nintendo Switch. but seeing as i am broke af i cant even sneeze in Nintendo's direction without going without food for a week...

I adore this channel it is my favorite gaming channel to watch so much I get upset when there are no videos but I must first say something I think a lot of people are thinking, even though I love your videos the ones with Kim in them are far more superior and entertaining and you should either officially include Kim into this channel or you two should create a new channel together. Now that is out of the way maybe BOTW 2 starts off just like BOTW 1 but during the end or middle of the game they find Terrako and sends the new champions back in time to make what happens in Age of Calamity now cannon which in turns creates an all new game which you play during a DLC.
Age of calamity is so much fun. I tried playing the first hyrule warriors and I just couldn't get into it. The voice acted cutscense really make calamity work.
Best thing about this game is that it’s the first Zelda game that is about Zelda. Nearly every game in the franchise focus on Link’s journey but here Zelda takes the lead role. Also I literally can’t contain how much I love this game. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about time travel but I view it as two separate timelines. Basically the Trunks form DBZ theory of time travel.
One thing I heard was that when Zelda at the end of Breath of the Wild mentioned Vah Ruta was acting odd, that could’ve been Sidon being transported to Age of Calamity and with him gone it caused issues with Vah Ruta. Cause out of all 4 of the champion replacements, only Sidon was chosen to mention anything about being warped and talk about what he heard, which is odd if all 4 of them experienced similar things unless they’re referencing Vah Ruta messing up at the end of Breath of the Wild
The difference here is: Sidon is not vah Ruta pilot in botw, vah Ruta stop working can be related to something that we are going to know in botw sequel
For anyone who hasn't played Hyrule Warriors Legends/Definitive Edition, please do give it a try, especially if you like this game. The original is a huge love letter to the franchise, and ties in characters from several different games, allowing for more characters and unique weapon types. If you like Age of Calamity, then you will like the Definitive Edition. I haven't finished this one yet, but so far I liked the original more. Only real improvement is letting you merge different weapon types for a character.

Botw is a beautiful game, I hope they continue to tell the stories, and make a cohesive timeline, I want to know the full history of Hyrule and Lowrule. There's so many questions I have that the games don't answer all the way.

As someone who just a few months ago FINALLY got his hands on a Switch, been buying as many Switch games as I can afford to go with it and I was able to buy both Hyrule Warriors games on Black Friday.
