Good morning CW. Years ago I picked up a used one. One of the 1st releases with solid walnut grip panels. During a farm call he used to put down a bull that was headed for market. Never underestimate the power of the .22 and. 22 mag. Great collection, thanks for sharing.
For many years, I carried my standard model 22 mag for deep concealment. Mine is accurate, and I practiced with it regularly. Great collection you've got there. Thanks for sharing! Rat
CW, Good morning dude. That's a real nice collection of those little pistols. I had one back in the late 80's, however, I never shot it that much. It got traded or sold in one of my numerous transactions of firearms through the years. However, like you, I like them. Great nose maker when you run into an animal that would be in your best interest to scare away while fishing or whatever, plus have some personal protection as well. I believe they pioneered the whole EDC thing. So, Peace out dude, Hope you are doing a little better everyday with the knee. - Dave
I remember back in the day, a 22 mag micro revolver of some kind was always the latest find someone had. And all of us in our little group of gun friends would eventually wind up with one. Man I went through some crappy little 22 mag revolvers over the years.🤣 I think those memories are part of what made me pick up that little S&W Bodyguard 2.0 last week.😉 I have no actual need in my life for this tiny thing and the only thing I have done with it is put in my sweat pants pocket when I let the dog out after dark to keep the skunks at bay, and in all honesty, the Ruger SR22 was doing a fine job with the skunk patrol before the Bodyguard got here.🤣🤣🤣
My mom ended up finding a holster at a thrift store and didn't know what it was for and sure enough when I looked at the brand it was for something I already that that my grandfather gave me before he passed what an awesome match it was and now I carry it like that.
Scotsman, I believe they were in that EDC before EDC was a thing. they are small, and Yes too small for my hands too. Before these were out, there was the 2-shot derringers and J-frame size revolvers back then.
They sure were Dave. They sure were. Cassul Made one before these. I had it and I traded it in for one of the ones here I kind of wish I kept it. It was a four shot.
What ammo do you get good stability from? I've tried a couple of different brands with mixed results. When I contacted NAA, they have a recommended list, but it's all high end hollow points. That's well and good, but I bring myself to just use these as plinking ammo
@floridagunrat1625 I have never once been told what the exact issue with the video was. How do we improve when we have no idea what the issue is. I always do what I can to stay within the rules.
