🙏🙏 So far, my pair hasn’t really changed much and this upper really doesn’t seem like it’ll either loosen / break in more over time. But yes going down that half size should be the most ideal option. Cheers!
I just bought this pair too and I had the same slight heel slippage. I already have 2 other pairs of the 21's and it's not an issue on the Okoya or Tahitian colorways. I just have to really lace these up tighter than the other pairs and that heel slippage isn't too noticeable.
From the pairs that I’ve tried yes. Other colorways - Queen Conch (all star) might the best one I did try them on once that felt even better and lighter on feet.

I have a question my man. Yesterday I played basketball again in like 3 months. I played with my Ae1 and cushioned adidas socks. While I was playing I felt something in my left foot but I thought it was not a big deal. Then later when I came back home and then saw my left foot there was a big red blister. Burned pretty much. My question is do you think it was because of the shoes or socks or maybe both? Maybe you have experienced something like this in the Ae1?
I would have absolutely no idea man. There’re a lot of factors that could have contributed to your experience - I can only say that for me the AE 1 does fine over longer sessions, doesn’t really cause things like that as long as sizing is correct.

Man, I can’t disagree with you more on the fit. If you have a high arch, avoid these shoes at all costs. The uppers have 0 give, and will destroy your foot because they will not conform to your foot the way the leather and suede materials do. Way more comfortable and will actually break in. The materials change look amazing, but hurt like hell 4:44

To me the materials with these colorways were a huge let down. It’s literally just fuse from the 2010s. Shouldve been a more open mesh like on the 20s

Love the original Lebron's 21s so it's sad to see them put out all the good colorways on the worse model (imo)

Don’t have that pair to compare, NXXT Gen Amped in general has about the same level of traction performance based on my experience.
