Great reaction as always! Also his car radio actually did get stolen when he was in college I believe Check out “migraine” very deep lyrics with a catchy beat
Great reaction - super in depth and you seem to be picking up on the various themes really well!!! Probs much better than I did the first time listening, lol!!! Another vote here for Migraine! It’s fantastic and you’ll be able to break it down really well I think! There are loads of songs as I’m sure you’ve probably seen - and they are all fire 🔥 I think the meanings and themes do get more difficult as you move through the albums, especially as you get to Trench, but everyone will keep you right! You should also check out the live performances- it’ll blow your mind!!! Anything from Live at Fox theatre is great - but Holding on to You (my fav performance and tøp song I think!!!), Goner and Trees are honestly mind blowing from that gig! If you want more of a ‘behind the scenes’ look, the song, The Hype is a great one to do - both versions! There’s the official album version and music video that’s great (always reminds of 90’s Indie/Britpop type music) but then there’s another version where Tyler has one day in the studio in Berlin while they’re touring and re-imagines the track in one day!!! It’s AMAZING and nothin like the original!!! It’s done a bit like a vlog so you see how he basically pulls up Garage Band (I think), plays a load of instruments, changes the beat and records another masterpiece, that I actually prefer to the original! You could do both in one video - it’d be a bit long, although each video is only 5 mins or so - but we’d all definitely watch it - or you could split it into two if it’s easier?! Once you’ve reacted to more off the albums, you’ll LOVE the sessions stuff, especially at Brooklyn! It’s just Tyler, but again, he sits on front of a live audience (very small, intimate type of situation) and re-does some songs from Trench - he has the vo-cider, beat maker. (I think, from memory) and a few other ‘toys’ along with his piano - and proceeds to rework his songs in an extremely experimental way that I will never get over until the day I die!!!! The man in a genius! Great reactions Pav - I’m sure you’ll come to love TØP as much as we do! I’m an older hip hop head and grew up with NWA, LL Cool J, Beastie Boys, PAC etc - then got really into Eminem when he first appeared on the scene - he’s still my fav solo ‘artist’ to this day and the recent B side album blew me away - however, when the kids introduced me to TØP s few years ago, it was like hearing Em for the first time again, I totally fell in love with them and they became my fav ‘band’ - then seeing them live elevated to a level I’ve never experienced in a live setting before - which is a bold statement as I’ve been to over 400 gigs in the last 25 + years! Anyway, sorry for the long ass message - we just love seeing a new reactor jump on tøp and it will really help your channel grow too - we will always comment and 👍 which I know really helps the algorithm etc. With the blocking of the music videos, there are certain tracks you’ll really need the music videos for (More in the last 2 albums but specifically for when you do Heavydirtysoul (the prequel) and then the Trilogy (Jumpsuit/Nico and the Niners/Levitate) and also Heathens (slight tie in to the Trilogy but not essential to the story), Chlorine and probably My Blood - they all tell a story through the visuals and make it easier to understand what’s going on. I was talking to one of the other reactors who build his channel on tøp songs (amount others), and he said there are a few things that help - you probs know this already but just in case, he said to only play 15 -20 seconds of video then stop and talk about it, then another 15-20 seconds and so on. I think it’s also easier to argue that you’re ‘adding value’ if the video is in the dispute process. Also, not showing the tøp logo on the thumbnail can help and equally not having a screen shot from the official video in the thumbnail either. Keep going, it’ll be worth it!!! X
Also, a lot of times when I struggle with my depression and anxiety is when it is quite. When I drive if I don't have music to listen to you have to confront those thoughts. Without the radio he had to drive in silence
the song is literally about someone stealing his car radio and him having to sit alone in his car with his thoughts, but the great thing about twenty one pilots is that they heavily vouch for putting your own meaning into life and things which includes their songs, so if you feel like interpreting it differently then they would definitely encourage you do to so :)

small recommendations from what I saw on few other reaction channels : 1) anytime video could be blocked , but you have to dispute it and it's a big chance that video would be unblocked ruclips.net/video/gh_UeqUM4L4/видео.html 2) pause . Use it every 20-25 seconds. It gonna ruin a bit of vibe, but more likely to not being blocked 3) use "picture block" on video image. That can be as layer on video, like in this example ruclips.net/video/wOMHDbXuqEI/видео.html or full size picture that block whole video for +- 5 sec (every 30 sec) Or just cut hole video image every 30 sec for 5-10 sec
Yeah I know about all these. I’ve done it once before and tbh with you, rather than butcher an entire reaction and deliver shit content I’d rather not do it at all. Dunno. Just a level of standard I have I guess, thank you for the suggestions though, I got lucky on this one, no block, but I just dispute them if they do.
If people are just sitting there banging there head to it. Block it. But if people are actually attempting to dissect their lyrics I don’t see why they should get blocked but then again who’s got time to check reactions for what’s in them haha
I would be stoked AF no cap 😏 twenty one pilots and NF are 2 concerts on my bucket list for sure. I think the crowd represents the sound of the car radio. They were still and quiet at first and then at the end he was left alone in silence. His car radio actually did get stolen and he realized how much it distracted him from his thoughts and he wrote this song....I actually have a theory on why his lyrics are cryptic and I also think its the same reason NFs songs tie together....."sit ...this will only take a moment ok?" 😐 ( I got them pun bars). I think he writes this way because the casual listener isn't going to get what he's saying. They will think it's stupid. They will move on back to thier mumble rap. His words are meant for people who are actually going to take the time to figure out his meaning, the people who need his music as much as he does. Nate does the same with his lyrics first time listeners are not going to get the references. They will think its corny and go back to turning their brains into mush by listening to Cardi B. Neither of them want a shallow fan base that aren't invested enough to "SEARCH" for the "Message Man"... I did it again... "I don't drink, but I live in these bars" 😆😆😆. So to "rap" it all up. ( metaphorical bar) Neither of them want fans that don't give a shit about the content. They want fans who need the music as much as they do. That's why they both have such a devoted, loving following... "I don't expect you to get my perspective," "but what you expect from a therapy session?"....HAAANH!?!?!....BARS SON!!! 😁😆
I remember some time ago everyone was car radio this and car radio that so I went to check it out. I couldn't get into it, always stopping a couple of seconds in.
