In contrast to most commenters under this video, I actually love bedrock edition. It's only a little different from Java, and I think they're quite equal in quality. They have differences, but I'd say each version has its own advantages. So as a bedrock player I'm really happy u play this version. I hope u'll continue and I'll even subscribe!
@@ThatBritishMo honestly just going to the end and beating the game is a big challenge it’ll have lots of parts to do yk but if you want somthing easier try just going to the nether
Hey man! Love the video, but at 12:35 you said “you cannot control a llama no matter how hard you try” which is incorrect. You can ride a llama with a saddle which is only attainable through villages I believe. Great video man, keep up the good work ❤
@ No worries man, but I’m pretty sure they’ve changed it to where you can’t control it. You can tame it tho, but the way to tame it is by jumping on it a few times until hearts come out of the llama. But because it was previously tamed by the wandering trader, you therefore need a new llama that is not of the wandering trader kind. Sorry for any confusion it’s been a while since I’ve played aswell 😅
@Soona2295 no worries at all. This is super helpful. I really hoped to get comments like this from posting this video. I'm learning so much from the community 😊
In your first house you found the igloo it might have. A zombie villager you might need that later it would be under the carpet if you mind the floor in the igloo
Hey I really loved your video. It’s really refreshing to see someone just getting into Minecraft, as I also just recently started playing too. As others have pointed out, Java really is the superior version to play in. stuff like plowing dirt can be done by right clicking with a hoe, as well as the other tools like shovels and axes have other functions if you right click. For example shovels will make dirt block a light yellow color that can be used to make dirt pathways. Axes can be used on all wood logs to strip them. Functionally doesn’t do anything, but gives a new interesting appearance to the wood for decorating purposes. The nether portal wasn’t complete, and it also had crying obsidian which was the pretty looking obsidian with more purple in it. I would recommend you watch a tutorial on how water interacts with lava, as depending on how the water and lava touch can create either cobblestone, stone, or obsidian. You can only mine obsidian with a diamond pickaxe, as lower tier pickaxes will just break the obsidian and you won’t be able to pick it up to build a portal. also, you don’t necessarily need a big body of water to pick up water with a water bucket, you just need to click the water source block. You can test this yourself by placing down a bucket of water in a clear area. The source block will be the highest in elevation and each block away from the source block will be lower and lower, and a source block will have a slightly different visual appearance. Taming animals can be tricky. Dogs are tamed by right clicking on them with a bone, cats with fish, and horses you just have to try and mount them until the hearts appear. You can feed them apples to speed up the process. There are a bunch of little tricks with right clicking, double clicking, and shifting to craft or move things around in your inventory and chests which speeds up the process a lot, I would also recommend looking at a tutorial for that. Really hope this becomes a series, and I’m excited to see your progress. Good luck :)))
Thank you so much for this amazing comment. It's really helpful and I will definitely be looking up all these things you've mentioned. I will also definitely be making more Minecraft videos: I'm addicted already! 😅 Truly a wonderful and wholesome interaction, thank you
@@nour_salam_X_rx_islam thank you! I need to try this again in java mode. I got it working in bedrock, but couldn't work it out in java. I'll try again with this knowledge.
4:40 to use a hoe on the ground you need to click the right mouse button, it made a hole because you pressed the left mouse button. Hope this helps! And there is also no difference between using a hoe in bedrock or java edition.
So I definitely will go down that road... But first I want to experience the vanilla game before I go down the mod route. I know that once I do, there's no going back 🤣
@@ThatBritishMo I get that but try sky factory or sky block or something first btw cause you're stuck in the void with a tree and a piece of dirt (if skyfac) you need to craft slabs to catch a sapling really long game though so you may not be up for it it's how I learned mc first
@@ThatBritishMo sorry for a full conversation here but when it comes to vanilla best thing to do if find diamonds as soon as you can also make a shield it's 6 wood and 1 iron really helpful for bows and press right click to tame dogs with bones and you also need a saddle to control a horse
hey Mo! im willing to play with you and teach you what i know if youre willing? id love to join in content creation but my pc isnt good enough, but id love to help!
you need to left click to hoe the farm. (this is coming from a bedrock player but most of the same mechanics apply. Don't take this with a grain of salt.)
4:35 so I play on a console and I think your playing on a computer but you have to left click the ground I'm pretty sure. bcs if you use the button you would use to kill a sheep or mine it will just dig the dirt, but if you click with the opposite button it will hoe the ground
The nether portal you found wasn´t completed! You have to build one with Obsidian and then light it but there is a chest at the portal which I think you didnt open, there could be useful stuff in there just so you know :)
