@@ThatQuadDrummer yeah I’m playing drumset this year for Bucs front ensemble and I remember when we were in our December camps when all of them showed up. I was in shock because of how many world class people came 😅
YEAHHH BABY!! I'm marching bucs as my first drum corp season on baritone and I also love percussion. I can't even tell you how hyped I am that you guys already uploaded this. I also hope you guys have Travis back on the pod after the season.
You are correct in that the Open Class champion performs in exhibition during finals. Whether that happens for the All Age champion, I guess we'll find out but I think it will.
also lines wise I think theres def one or 2 on snare and I think one UPS tenor from what I can remember (also not even related to world class but one of the Old line center snares is there 😎)
Hey guys! Love the podcast, been following for awhile. I host my on podcast that's all DCI-all age focused. I'm also a buccaneer, we'd love to have you guys on and talk our side of the activity! Check it out if your interested. ON CYCLE PODCAST
Not being sarcastic, but a genuine question.... How many of the people in this video are really "All Age". With DCA being primarily under 22, it seems to me it would have made more sense to simply meld DCA into DCI Open class.
Can’t speak for drumline, but at least 1/3 of Bucs hornline is over 22 this year. Melding DCA with Open class would completely eliminate any field-show form of the activity for age-outs and would severely drop the talent level across the board for DCA corps
Since you were wondering, most of these guys are from Crown, GMU, PSU Blue Band, UP, etc.
Yeah the battery has a new caption head. Travis Peterman teaches at GMU so makes sense that they're mostly from gmu. That one quad marched UP.

6:32 - our show is called "Hat Trick: The Art of Three", so three note groupings is right on brand this year

Appreciate y’all 🙌🔥
Sounding pretty good right here! The quads the snares and basses! Hats 🎩 off to the sound!
Cymbal line! Let's GOOO!!! they are solid, and they are giving the last extra touch for big and soft moments.
10:14 Knowing the Reading Buccaneers I can assure you that under no circumstances will the show be easy to march lmao
Especially since they are marching at 210 beats a minute with barely any stops 💀
@@R.Odysseythe closer is at 200 with only a couple holds here and there
@@JaykaWeder ik but recently in previous years 200-210 has been the standard for reading at some point in the show

two of the quads are from UP, the other three are from GMU, and like half of the snares are from GMU at some point (also shout out Nick from Old Line)
