fantastic as always!! so much fun to play! You should check out a song called Yellow Brick Road by Angus and Julia Stone, its the identical picking pattern and (almost) same chord progression, even the way the F and G shapes change from start to end of song. (only Angus plays 6th string first with thumb, and second string first with index). and plays the first G with only third finger as that the only one effecting the strings played!! so great to see you putting up lessons again!!
Brilliant lesson mate! Any chance you could add Country Song or Broken to your portfolio as there are no decent lessons for these great picking songs out there?? Keep up the good work!!
The only thing I can't figure out is the picking pattern on the C chord at the beginning because he seems to do a hammer on . Thanks for a great tutorial this is awesome
I had same problem . ruclips.net/video/ftczzyE2VDk/видео.html 33 seconds into the video u can see how jake does it. Uses his index finger on picking hand to make the hammer on on d string.
Technically, this is a simplified version. Jake doesn't repeat the same fingerpicking in all the chords. It's different in the C chord plus a hammer-on. The fingerpicking is not completely right either. So if you want to make it more interesting you'll have to listen to the recording and figure out how Jake is playing, or watch a live version.
I've just started learning guitar and you're tutorials ( the Jake bugg ones in particular) are making it a joy to learn to play. Thank you so much
thanks a lot for this very good tutorial. so happy to play the song !
You play an extra g note before each chord change any reason another lesson has two notes less heads pickled a bit any reason mate cheers
Best guitar teacher!

Also, in the verse there is a very subtle hammer on on the C chord but I cannot work out how he is sneaking this in. Any ideas?? Cheers!
ive noticed he does capo this at the 4th fret jake bug that is?
