Another potential must-add player is Logan Couture! He's practicing and should be returning soon. EDIT: Thomas Chabot and Jamie Drysdale are must-add defensemen as well.
This format every time please my friend! This was the best episode yet. A quick recap of your thoughts in the description (text next to players name) next to the players goes a long way. I still watched the whole episode but it makes it easier to digest what you are adding to that players description. Thank you!!!
I dropped zuccarello in my 10 man last night in order to add Lyon and win my week, luckily no one scooped him up and I picked him right back up at midnight haha
Hey man, big fan of your content. Since watching you’ve helped me win every weekly matchup (for the past month haha). Question for you: I traded JT for Trocheck. I’m getting told this is “wild”. Considering that Trocheck is on PP1 now with Kakko out, would this be considered more of an even trade in your opinion? Trocheck has a very high face off winning %, scoring % is better than JT, and has similar TOI. Have I made the right call? Cheers man
I think the trade is pretty even but like I always say, it depends on your league settings. Trocheck is better in faceoffs and hits, Tavares is better with shots, etc. Now I do think Tavares will bounce back in the scoring department as his shooting percentage is lower than normal. With Trocheck, he has the highest ATOI of his career, a stable s%, and is playing fantastic, so I could see his production being sustainable. Chytil doesn't seem close to returning so Trocheck should keep his deployment, another good thing. Overall I think it will end up being pretty even in the long run. It's not a wild trade by any means... I think people are reacting to the scoring rates of both players historically and ignoring that Trocheck's production seems pretty sustainable. @@conorduffy1208
So I have Jack Hughes, Lehkonen, Werenski, Gustavsson on ir. My ir slots are maxed out. Logan Thompson got injured and I can't put him on ir. Should I drop him? I also want to pick Meier back up because I think he'll get more of an opportunity with Jack out, but again, I have no ir slots. I also have Hischier and Drouin. My only other goalie is Kochetkov. 12 team, H2H, G, A, P, PPP, SOG, HIT, BLK, PIM
I have Drysdale too and would love your thoughts on same. I see a comment that "Torts has told Drysdale that he would be part of their PP but it's torts, could be a roulette with york, sanheim, zamula....
Don’t really think it boosts his value. He has more competition for minutes and the Flyers powerplay is the worst in the NHL. So pretty much a negative
I think he should bounce back at least a bit but Tampa's defense is not good. They've had this issue all season long and I'm not sure if they will fix it.
I like him but no one was expecting him to keep up that insane run he had. He L1 and PP1 and will likely keep that deployment even when Connor comes back, so I’m a fan.
That is true. I forgot about shallow leagues. The smallest I have played in is 10. I would feel weird in a 4-6 team league. I just found it funny since I recently was thinking of trading for him.@@firedupfantasy
Tbh I’d rather have Bratt long-term. Nuge should still be great in fantasy though. Perhaps the Devils injury problems may hurt Bratt at least in the short-term so there’s that.
Hello, My league manager just approved this trade. Charlie gave #21 forward Konecny to Theo for #15 goalie Swayman. I want Alex to give #20 forward Hughes or #23 Zibanejad to me for #10 goalie Ingram. My question is who would you choose given the Hughes injury? Thank you.
Which side do you think wins in this trade: trade away Nichushkin for Eichel Lehk is available in my league so I was thinking of picking him up. Do you think he has a big impact on Nich's and/or Drouin's role? G - 6, A - 4, PPP/SHP - 2, SOG/HIT/BLK - 0.5
I can’t say for certain what will happen with Lehk. There are legit concerns about Drouin keeping his deployment but if his plays falls off Lehk will easily slide in - hard to predict what will happen. Nichushkin for Eichel is pretty even but I’d have to give the edge to Eichel. I’d have trouble letting Nichushkin go with his current play and deployment though.
I picked up Lehk last night. In the beginning of the season he was holding Nichushkin back. I think with the way Nichushkin has been playing Drouin will eventually fall off and Lehk will take his spot. I don't think you can go wrong taking someone in the top 6 and more than likely on the top power play on the Colorado Avalanche.
When you say regular points league, what are the values? In any league that values shots, hits, and blocks decently, Luke is at a disadvantage. If that's the case for your league Chabot is the best long-term option tbh.

Long time listener, First time commenter.
Just saying you are the best thanks.
Thanks! I appreciate that

You're talking about John Tavares correct?
@@firedupfantasy yes.

Have Carlson & L. Hughes - do I drop either to pick up Shea Theodore or Pietrangelo ? (Points league only)
Should I drop husso for Boone j? I have daccord and ullmark.
No IR spot for Boone?
It really depends on your league settings but in general I think Jenner > Husso.

What do you think of the Drysdale trade to the flyers in terms of fantasy value?

Drouin or Trevor Moore?
Drouin
what your current thoughts on vasy ? buy low potentially?
I think he should bounce back at least a bit but Tampa's defense is not good. They've had this issue all season long and I'm not sure if they will fix it.
should i drop Rust and pick up Rakkel?
I would
What do you think about vilardi
I like him but no one was expecting him to keep up that insane run he had. He L1 and PP1 and will likely keep that deployment even when Connor comes back, so I’m a fan.
If Konecny is a streamer in peoples leagues, I would love to join.
Haha I agree. Had to include him because the condition is any player under 90% rostered on Yahoo. I suppose some people are in 4 or 6 team leagues.

I traded Bratt for Nuge. Did I win or lose?
Tbh I’d rather have Bratt long-term. Nuge should still be great in fantasy though. Perhaps the Devils injury problems may hurt Bratt at least in the short-term so there’s that.
Why no Martin jones in the video?
My bad, he’s definitely a must-add goalie. Just forgot to include him.

I’m taking Hughes all day. When he’s healthy he’s a force to be reckoned with and a top 5 fantasy player.

Thoughts on neccas? He just got dropped
I'm thinking of dropping him as well.
Not a huge fan. Less ice time this year, no PP1, taking less shots than last year as well.
@@firedupfantasy keeping sharengovich, fantili, shmaltz over Neccas?
What do you think about dropping Luke Hughes for either Harley or Thomas chabot? I’m in a regular points league with +/-
