  • This is how we make our items using Tegaki(hand drawn) Kyo-Yuzen. It's the same dyeing method as we make Kimono.

    Hello.
What types of dye r being use to dye these beautiful kimono? Also what type of ink is being use to outline the drawing on the silk fabric? I'm just curious because the ink didn't bleed as it is being drawn on.
    Thank you!

We always use acid dyes because they are good friends with silk fabrics.
Ink? Can you tell me which part you are talking about because we don't use any ink to outline on the silk.
      Thank you.

Do you mean that is in "Design" part?
If so, we don't outline the drawing on the silk. We do that on paper so it doesn't bleed or keep the color of ink in silk.
