I remember that day... I looked out the window when it was over and EVERYTHING was white. there was so much hail it looked like snow covered everything.. it was a warm day.. the day before that one or after... in the MIDDLEVOF THE DAY a thick FOG rolled in and blanketed everything... TO ME it seemed supernatural. it felt wrong...even tho it was so cool it was kinda scary never in my life had I seen fog fill the air all the way to the ground In the MIDDLE OF A WARM DAY. then the next day that hail storm... it just felt like something was controlling the weather... then on the third day I heard an amazing whistle. it sounded like the greatest whistler of all time was whistling off in the distance... I went outside to see if I could find where and who was doing it...as I walked down my street it sounded like it was coming from the distance on another street behind ours.. so I cut thru in between my neighbors houses... . once I arrived I heard it again but this time from a completely different location.. this went on for a few hours. IT WAS TO BEAUTIFUL not to follow the sound. it felt like and sounded like it was calling to me. I knew what it was ... in my heart I knew.... those three days , the hail storm , the thigh fog, then the whistler. I will never forget it... so when I saw this I knew I had to click on it. Did anyone else have a day of fog come thru their neighborhood the day after the insane hail storm? I live in North East Dallas , pretty much on the borders of Richardson and Garland and Dallas.
Lived in Bay Area CA for 5yrs, never ever woke up in middle of the night or sleep for natural disasters but it’s just 5months here in Dallas TX.. weather here is super crazy in 5 months I happen to see snow fall, tornado, hail storms atleast 4 times so far! Most scarier part is more people die out of lightning attack than snakes around here! Yet this is the place for many who lives outside of Texas unless they come in and experience the reality here! Gone are days where they say Texas is inexpensive. It’s equally costlier to Ca and NJ area .
If hail is prevented, the vehicles should be covered with a tarpaulin, or several tarpaulins, but it is supposed that it is not known when hail falls from the sky, I do not know if there in that city, or in the United States, the tarpaulins would be taken. Greetings from the south of Spain.
Hey Steve Reeves, do you have an email address at which we could contact you regarding this video? We would be interested to discuss a license to use this video if this is generally possible? (i.e. via email) :) Cheers, Felix
I would be mighty unhappy watching my parked car getting pummeled like this, and being unable to get outside to move it, particularly if there was nowhere to move it to. If none of the windows was cracked or broken I would just live with lots of small dents and not bother to get them fixed.
Yeah, the great state of Texas and DFW. Hail storms, high taxes, horrible roads, horrible traffic, foundation issues, plumbing issues. What the hell is so appealing to people? Seriously...
@@stavroscorleone1345 and so natural beauty in DFW whatsoever, so bland, just plains of nothing and manmade lakes. If you're outdoorsy, this ain't the place.
@@jernbek1 Exactly. From the beautiful country sides of Ohio. We're here to take care of our grandson due to the death of our daughter and the fact that his father is an alcoholic narcissistic piece of shit. This place sucks...
I lived in the duplex across the street from the Lakewood branch library at 6130 Worth St. I had 24 of 36 huge broken windows and the baseball sized hailstones were inside my house! I had just returned from a trip and i remember going south on Abrams around the Country Club and steam was rising from the street. A very eerie foreshadowing scene to the nightmare that awaited me inside my house.
I got a brand new car due to this storm, I was a few blocks from here at the epicenter, skillman and live oak. Insurance came out and handed me 14k to buy a new car.

There's a four story parking garage a block away.

I hear on a hot day, u can take a small piece of dry ice, on any dimples on your vehicle and the dimples will pop back out.
