If we need to get up at the same time every day, then we should also be sleeping at the same time every night... This is something that I religiously follow. Thanks for the video

What if my goals don’t excite me? I wake up thinking “oh god no, not this again” and I roll over and go back to sleep.

Good point. Can you elaborate on your mornings? Perhaps I can create a follow-up video that will help with that.

The personal problem i have is that I'm a gamer which means im used to go to bed at 2am or so and wake up at horrible 12pm. Recently i moved and unfortunately my room is right above a garage which means that every morning at about 6am i get scared and woken up by the garage door. I cannot make something out or change rooms. So my only solution to get actual sleep in my life again is going to bed early and wake up before the garage door. But i need help. I do not know how I'm supposed to change from going to bed at 2am to let's say 10pm. That is a huge time change. Also considering that i do all my things at night. Of course i can do stuff in the mornings but the whole situation just feels weird. I also have big trouble getting up because I'm tired from getting woken up by the door and im tired in general. I would love to see advice for my big issue as i have been on many forums but without success.

I simply have insomnia, but I found when I was on a strict schedule, a "time sensitive" morning routine if you will, I woke up naturally earlier than my alarms. Now it could be because I was anxious about oversleeping, but I always feel better when I get up early. Even when I don't sleep well the night before. To remedy my messed up sleep schedule, I would force myself to be up and out of bed AT A SPECIFIC TIME, even if I didn't sleep more than 2 hours, and it was important that I DID NOT nap throughout the day at any time. It usually takes me a week to actually settle into sleeping earlier. Probably because I'd exhausted myself, but it seems to work. CAN'T SAY IT'S THE HEALTHY WAY?? But it's how I did, and still HAVE to do, when I get off a schedule for long periods of time. Hope you figured yours out tho!
