I love your enthusiasm for life Freddie! This is what riding bikes was like when I first started biking in the mid 70’s. You didn’t need full leathers and superbikes to enjoy biking. I think people have been conditioned through advertising to believe they need the latest and best so it’s a breath of fresh air watching your adventures with Monika.😊
Yes indeed Chris, I remember that well with my mates, all on Brit Bikes. Back then though the bikers would usually ride in small groups, unlike F + M. Single bikers were mostly only ever seen doing the to and from work ride.

"The most beautiful spot I have ever seen" 😂😂 I believe Monica mentioned that you have to stop that 😂 But it's part of your charm. Great video 👍🏼 Also the music is very good. I really liked the Velvet Moon song, reminds me of Stevie Nicks.

I have to be honest Freddie and Monica, when you move abroad (and good for you) I’ll be gutted we’ll no longer see you doing these UK vids, as there is so much more to see and do. Never mind, eh. This was a fantastic vid, the perfect mix of scenery, good music and commentary. I nearly shed a tear when you were chilling by that stunning river. I’ll look forward to the next’n.
I'll miss the UK- you realise how special places are when you leave them behind, and I'm already feeling that with the UK. We'll be back for Spring though I think! The river was, without wanting to sound to soft, quite a moving place🙂
I could tell it was Slapton Sands from the intro. Used to go there often with the children. As I recall it has some military history to it as the Allies planned on using Slapton Sands as a practice for the D-day landings. I hope you also managed to check out Bigbury and the fabulous Art Deco hotel in the island. It’s another great spot. Looking forward to your next video as I plan on doing some Dartmoor trips later this year.
Hi Freddie, Glad you have been able to get to our area. It is so beautiful. We watched your video this morning early then hopped on the bike and we were having coffee on the beach at Torcross 20 mins later! So lucky. You must have ridden past our door on the way back. Glad you enjoyed it all. Keep safe.

Love the Hepco and Becker setup and would love to get it for my Meteor. Spending €1000 on the setup is scary. If they do a promo or a Black Friday deal in November I can see myself getting them, maybe. By far the best stealth setup when not riding with panniers that I've seen.
