The full tank of the Corsa holds 45 litres. That of the Clio must be almost on reserve (6 to 7 liters approximately) There is a difference of about 38 liters between the two cars. Gasoline has a mass of 0.755kg per liter so there is a difference of about 28kg. Is this enough to be more efficient? I'll leave it to you to answer ! ✌
No way this corsa is the one with 130hp. I am 100% sure this is the 1.2 100hp. My friends corsa 1.2 130hp can go 200km easy like the clio in this video and here we see corsa strangle to 180km.
Tce is always better but high volume is important variable in addition to this Renault makes an effort about this reason downsize with high power is a good Technology. In my opinion Clio 5 is the best car in it's segment against rivals.
Wind & weather difference? Tyre pressure? Different fuel amount? Features and tare weight? Same with manual gear shift? Because the gear box of the Renault shifts much earlier, so it is more efficient to accelerate. These motors have no power above 6000rpm.
As an owner of the 130 hp 8 AT Corsa i can tell you that you need to shift a bit earlier for maximum acceleration. The engine is dead after 6,000 rpm. I dont know why the german engineers decided to tune the 8 AT to shift at 6,500 rpm. In Peugeot 208 (same engine and gearbox) the 8 AT shift at 6,000 rpm and it shows. Clio would be still faster in the long run but not so much faster. EDIT: Also now after 1 year and 1st service check (~12,000 km) the engine is much more responsive and fuel consuption average went down from 6.2 to 5.7 litres.
I've opel corsa 130 automatic. It NEED fuel 98. The fuel get down is performance. My car with 95 fuel, max speed 202, with 98 214km/h ( ALL FUEL REPOSTED ON REPSOL)
What is your question exactly? If you are scared to go fast, don't go fast. Simple. Or buy newest A8 or S class so you can feel secure at speeds above 200kmh lol. Stupid question " do you feel insecure..."

@@SandStormPower Luxury brands or others virtural cockpits not a simplicity. on the contrary, it is much more complicated and adaptable. Opel made counter to solid color background. it's inelaborate. if you want simplicity, use classical Casio watch screen

About dash design, I'm a guy from the 80's, so I'll always have preference for something more mechanical, more objective than lots of whistles and bells. The clio, performance wise in this version is one of the best cars. But if we go for the base engine, even with 100 or 110 hp like the Peugeot 208 or citroen c3, their performance is as par as an 90's engine with 75hp. All because these new cars are so heavy

Clio DSG manual -- Corsa was run on normal Sport Auto... Of course at higher speeds the Clio will then pull away.

Der Tacho kann beim Franzosen auch eine höhere Abweichung haben, deshalb sind solche Tacho Battles nur zum spaß und nicht aussagekräftig

One of the car had 400 km till empty other one 60.. and so on. List can continue. But the gearboxes are definitely staged out differently

Also driving at 10°C or at 40°C, makes the difference too!
Is the clip from clio edited? You can clearly see at 2:31 that theres a cut in the acceleration of Clio. Tell us why :)

i feel with corsa f yes because steering wheel is so soft and never gets hard.

Corsa's indicator is wrong. It shows low speed. There is an error when leaving the factory. Go research and compare with other cars in real life.
