Hello, I hope you have great morning. And thank you very much for the information you provided in your video! It is greatly appreciated because I want to go to law school to become a lawyer. In fact, two years ago I visited Harvard law school, and I enjoyed my short visit which wasn’t as long as would have like. But hopefully the next time revisit, it will be a little longer.

Ill be graduting next year with a decent low GPA of like 3.3/3.4 and I've reached out to HLS Admissions team and they said if I'll score high enough with the LSAT plus write a great personal statement. Id still have the chance to get in... another problem Ill face is the financial burden that comes with it. Mygod

Clients do not care where you went to law school. Clients care about how you handle cases. I went to an average law school, and I have never seen a Harvard Law graduate in the courtroom.

To work at a big firm that pays big bucks you have to have gone to a top law school

Tony Fazioli LMFAO. To work in a top tier firm you HAVE to have gone to a prestigious law school like Harvard and Yale. I live in Australia and go to a top law school here (also top ranked in the world) and that’s the only way to get hired by big law firms

Ben Simmons - Nonsense. I have a buddy in one of the biggest law firms in the world. He graduated from Rutger Law School. I’ve been a lawyer for 18 years. I know plenty of lawyers who went to law schools that are 2nd tier and landed jobs in huge law firms. Again, it’s nonsense.

Tony Fazioli No lol it’s really not. You’re the exception not the rule. In Australia the big firms in each city hire almost exclusively from the GO8 University’s (Australia’s Ivy League) and a few other top law schools. If 8/10 grad jobs are filled by Harvard students I’d say that’s a good indicator not to go to Rutgers.

Ben Simmons - I agree to disagree with you. Again, I have been in the business for 18 years. In my years of practicing law, I was never asked where I went to law school. I have tried numerous cases and resolved even more. The name of a law school is irrelevant. I have never tried a case against a Harvard Law graduate because they simply are not litigators. They push papers all day long and have mommy and daddy paying their loans. If you are still in law school, get ready for the roughest career choice a person can make. You will work your ass off and not be rich.
