⚡ 💀 💕 / 🔥 😱 🔥 This performance is my standard answer to anyone who says that BABYMETAL aren't metal. : ) Su has a unique penetrating clarity to her voice that makes it perfect for metal music. Without having to boost her volume she can still be clearly heard through the heavy drums, bass and guitars. That six stringed bass is made by Atelier Z for BOH. Full title of the instrumental is 'Mischiefs of Metal Gods'. Su had three solos at that concert. 'Akatsuki' and 'No Rain, No Rainbow' were the other two. Yui and Moa (as Black BABYMETAL) had two songs without Su that night. They were 'Onedari Daisakusen' and '4 no Uta' (Song 4)
I love this song, it's one of my favourites! And a stunning performance by every single person on stage. BABYMETAL have a few songs that Su performs on her own, and also a few that the other two perform as a duo. That way they can take a breather from their dance routines from time to time. Just so you know, "No Rain, No Rainbow" is a ballad and another Su solo (not trying to talk you out of it, it's a great song).
even got approved by Mike Portnoy (source: twitter.com/mikeportnoy/status/814239777998458880 ) and yeah, if you go TotD, you should do the combo with "The One" from the tokyodome pro shot, not a compilation! www.dailymotion.com/video/x5ggoil it's pretty long and you won't be able to include either video nor audio, cause it'll get striked 100% so, best alternative is to go for a link&sync option! (as said, no audio/video, provide the link in the description and give us a quick countdown for the start, most reaction channels do it this way) cheers
Amuse will copyright strike you if you do... You can only Link-n-Sync for this reaction. Plus there are no good versions at all on RUclips. DailyMotion has the combined performance with "The One" from Tokyo Dome... a very long watch with very drawn out intros and outros (still excellent).
Yeah, Babymetal can still surprise ! ;-) I think the advantage of the 360 stage: more people get to sit/stand at the front, but you might be facing the back of the artist some of the time. :-) Seems all the other comments already explained, suggested, etc. most of what I wanted to mention.
For the other side of BABYMETAL try "Awadama Fever" ( Music Japan Special)- a terrific performance in front of a smaller audience of only girls. I'll put the link in my reply to this comment. I know RUclips often filters out comments with links in them.
Contrary to popular beliefs, Babymetal does touch on dark themes within their music. This song is about fighting depression, and how it can seem like you're always trapped in an infinite nightmare.
This song is about her having an endless nightmare of something chasing her in a forest at night under the moonlight but she can't see it and doesn't know what it is so she asks it to show her its figure if she can't get out of there
I think you should definitely check out either Onedari daisakusen, GJ or Sis Anger! It's the duo songs for Yui and Moa (the other two). Su is metal as fuck, but so are the other two!! So metal that their duo name is Black BabyMetal!
Has anyone suggested that you give an all Japanese band called "Aldious" a listen? Since you seem to like the more metal like songs by Babymetal, Aldious are the ones that started this new wave of great female bands coming out of Japan. I think most songs by Babymetal are pretty metal, but I would suggest "Go Away" just to start with by Aldious. ruclips.net/video/Eo89hEJ2rsM/видео.html They are currently looking for a new lead singer as Re:No had to step away for medical reasons after giving them 6+ years.
I don't think you've done Akatsuki (Red Moon) yet...? It doesn't look like it. If not, that's my favorite. Particularly the Black Night performance. ruclips.net/video/g2372C5PJLM/видео.html
Good reaction, agree with statements from other comments no rain no rainbow is a Beautiful Su balled, and Su brings so much emotion to it but like other people have commented Akatsuki I think will be more to your liking but I love both of them anyway. AKATSUKI at Same show ruclips.net/video/g2372C5PJLM/видео.html
this is one of their best songs, I think it's some kind of "evil waltz", I love it. and it's a million times better live. the studio version sounds awful, too overproduced and mixed so horribly everything sounds like a "SHHHHHHHH" white noise. the live versions are great because you can actually understand what the instruments are playing, and her live vocals are always better than the studio processed vocals. she's amazing here, and the guys in the band are awesome too. the melody is good, the drums are insane, the whole dark atmosphere is cool, this thing is a masterpiece. do akatsuki, amore or tales of the destinies next.
Lol, thinks he has heard "poppy" songs from Babymetal, yet hasn't reacted to Gimme, Iine, Onedari or Doki Doki yet... Not sur if he's ready yet... lol...

You should have your own channel we would all learn so much
@Stephen Chigwidden That… sounds like a lot of work. : )
@MetalBreakdown asked a lot of good questions though.

Check out “Tales of the Destinies” (basically BabyMetal does Dream Theater)

Yes please react to this one. Use the link provided by ThorfinnrKarrson
@@KillingMachine44 i guess it's too late, he did the compilation just the other day.. at least the TotD compilation has pretty good audio
The Intro isn't actually part of the song, it's called 'Mischief of Metal Gods' and it has various versions depend on what song play next.
absolutely amazing and wonderful 💞💞💞
Yeah man! This song, Sis Anger, Babymetal Death, and maybe also GJ are the BM songs I turn to when I'm in the mood for something dark and heavy.
A beautiful haunting heavy metal waltz.
The kami band and the production is second to none and the sets are incredible.
great reaction man!!!! please react to Akatsuki live in budokan! man that song is amazing and it´s a Su-metal solo too
no rain no rainbow is pure ballad i don't think you wil like it,instead i suggest akatsuki it's power ballad i think you will like it
I like the fact that you never pause the video to talk , this is what I call respect for the musicians and what they do \m/ \m/
Here's some great melodeath for you: BLOODRED HOURGLASS: QUIET COMPLAINT or SIX FEET SAVIOR 🤘
Your sense of rhythm is great!!!
There are few people who can get the rhythm of 3 beats at first sight of this song.

"Awadama Fever" [MUSIC JAPAN SPECIAL 2016」- ruclips.net/video/hcVzBLQZy20/видео.html
favourite song by them
like NU metal? Try Onedari Daisakusen at Makuhari Messe, Babymetal's take on this genre.
Great performance with only Yui and Moa (called Black BabyMetal). The version combined with "4 No Uta" is awesome.
I like to call this one a "dark waltz" or "evil waltz". it's one of their darkest, the melody is awesome.
I love her skirt, it really moves with the waltz and it's just such a great, light fabric.

Band-Maid's "Dice" would be killer!
Hide’s Dice would be cool too ;)
BabyMetal Death legend 1997.
React to Anarchy Divine by Fates Warning and Fast Junkie by Overkill. Awesome songs.
You like Helloween, than it's time to also check out some Running Wild songs e.g. Under Jolly Roger or Conquistadores.
I think you should definitely check out either Onedari daisakusen, GJ or Sis Anger! It's the duo songs for Yui and Moa (the other two). Su is metal as fuck, but so are the other two!! So metal that their duo name is Black BabyMetal!
Lyrically this is the darkest Babymetal song....if you look at the lyrics
they are monsters yes they are

Yui Mizuno is cute af
You noticed that while watching Su?
@MacTaipan - That's a testament to how cute she is. It's resonating out from backstage. :D
@@0okamino lol, I love a comment I once read that "YUI" should be the name of the unit to measure cuteness.
I've always preferred moa to be cutest to me 😆
But everywhere I go it's Yui Yui Yui
The rondo of nightmare with Mikio sounds better and way harder than Leda, prove me wrong
Geez it looks like no one agrees!!
