The untamed was a Male dominant drama unfortunately female characters had very short presences compared to them but... they all were strong characters, madam yu a hot temperd badass, wen qing who was brave, independent with high self esteem and jiang yanli kind hearted and fragile but strong hearted, supportive and never was judgmental, mian mian the honest, brave, loyal. I really appreciated it about them. p.s I think jiang yanli defending her brother in front of that job bastard deserved to be here but thank you for this video.

Can we just appreciate A-Qing for a SECOND! Despite KNOWING a majority of what Wei spouts is nothing but utter fucking nonsense, a bunch of bullshit that he will definitely end up not even remembering in a day's time because we all know his memory is poor, she never walks away before he finishes speaking. He calls out to her, and I assume he thinks she will just keep walking, but she never does. She ALWAYS stays and listens until the very end, and that was something I loved about her(plus how much she cares for A-Ning) She was my favorite next to A-Jie
Okay but i still can't move on from the scene where Wen Qing showed Wei ying 3 thorns (or somethings) and Wei ying just yeeted from her
I was actually waiting for the scene where WQ showed a few needles in front of WWX when he leaned on LWJ's shoulders
I mean that was kinda hilarious and iconic at the same time (plus _canonically_ romantic on LWJ and WWX's part somehow for me)

I didnt like madame yu at first either bc she hates wwx but the way she saves her two kids and wwx like embracing her role as the elder who protects them even if he is not HER son and then you realize culturally she sure took her role in being a strict mother figure to the extreme with wwx but also took on the role of protecting him to the death to the very end too.
