This is just so good. Don't be alarmed if it takes more than one viewing to make the mental map stick in memory; it's laid out so lucidly it's worth a few repetitions to nail down all the detail.

well, wouldn't you know its C. diff based on.....ahem....other.....indicators first? I mean its likely going to pretty obvious to the patient that this is no normal diarrhea. Or is it possible to diagnose it via the labs before things get.....moving?

I was shopping and for some reason it was only old people everywhere, and it was like bloody retirement home, they were just kinda wondering around lost (now of all times? ofc). i just got bloodwork done, my WBC is normal at 6.6x10^9/L, but my WBC lymphocytes are high at 3.2. should i be worried ? all other results are ok

What about PV? Polycythemia Vera? That's a blood cancer. What would labs look like with PV?

Its relative neutrophila bcoz there is acute infection but there is no activation of bone marrow
