The photo of the boys at Haight and Ashbury is my favorite of all time. The contrast between the five of them was indicative of the various talents of the band.

There was a famous story about Teddy Roosevelt who is meeting with some advisors about some weighty matter or decision they had to discuss and he took them all outside for a walk at night. Stopped and looked up at all the stars in the sky and then he said okay. Now that we understand where we stand in life, let's go back inside and make a decision

Thank you so much for these Steve! I'm a 24 year old GD historian and I cant wait for the next one! It would be so interesting to see an episode based around some of the best/worst drug or psychedelic related experiences the band and crew experienced while on the road. I bet that would go viral!
